The long-tailed tit or long-tailed bushtit. In Russia they are also called "a ladle". Because they are very similar to him :)

Keep flocks together surveying the trees and shrubs in search of edibles. They resonate with squeaking sounds, sometimes cracking. I noticed that they crack more often in the winter. I do not know why :)

In my opinion, they are the instigators of "mixed bird flocks", because they always fly in family packs. Other birds join them: treecreepers, nuthatches, big tits, willow tits, chiffchaff, sometimes woodpeckers.

pleasant & terrific!

Thank you!

The beautiful bird.. I hope we can all work towards conserving the wildlife so as to safe life's of birds like this not to be endangered nor go into extinction

Yes! It is very important. YES, even if only because birds destroy all kinds of parasites and insects. Balance of nature.

Such a cute bird. I didn't realize how much black they have when seen from the back/side :)

I am pleased to hear from you! :)
By the way, very interesting, I noticed that in our region, in Siberia, these birds have a completely white head. And in Japan and in the west, on their heads are black stripes. I wonder why this is so.

That is interesting ratel. Looking at my birds of North America book, the only tit other than the titmouse/bushtit seems to be the Siberian tit, but that is only found at the north-most parts of Canada and Alaska.

Siberian tit? Never heard of such a titmouse :) Apparently there is a problem in different names in different languages.

Stunning shots! How does the Tamron 150-600mm lens perform in your opinion? Iam looking for a new telephoto zoom lens ;)
