Or any day of the week for that matter.
This strong ale is from the Bell's Brewing Company.
A very popular, very strong, very delicious Ale.
It's Hopslam Season!
Here's what Bell's has to say about it
Starting with six different hop varietals added to the brew kettle & culminating with a massive dry-hop addition of Simcoe hops, Bell's Hopslam Ale possesses the most complex hopping schedule in the Bell's repertoire. Selected specifically because of their aromatic qualities, these Pacific Northwest varieties contribute a pungent blend of grapefruit, stone fruit and floral notes.
It's just a damn tasty beer...
It pours an amber color with a little foam. It has citrus and pine aromas. It is a mild but very flavorful Ale. It has a strong aromatic smell and a very high ABV (10%)!
Most craft beer connisuers will pick up some of these around January in these parts. However at 18.00 for a six pack, you're gonna pay. Just don't drink more than two or you'll pay in the morning as well.
