Continuing with this series today I present painting number 7, The Graces, by Peter Paul Rubens, represents the daughters of Zeus and can be cited as the ideal type of beauty, while those of Rubens can correspond to the most sensual beauty. For Rubens, Aglaya, Talia and Euphrosine were nothing more than an excuse to paint three female academies, a reproduction of the exuberant forms of his usual models.
The painting is currently on display at the Prado Museum in Madrid, Spain. This oil painting measures 221 cm high by 181 cm wide.
Particularly it is one of the ones I like the most although all of them are great.
