Creative, Free Flowing Art

Good Morning Friends!

ALIVE AND WELL ART SERVICES
Remember that name!
I finally started my little art business! During my spare time I love to create...draw, sew, paint, build, you name it! So, I had the idea that why not fill my free time with me teaching people how to create. Maybe you have never picked up a paintbrush or pencils before. I want to give everyone the opportunity to draw, paint or build because it is therapeutic and fun.

The name of the game is FUN!
So, I go out and do one on one type classes with all sorts of people in the community. You may have had a brain injury or trauma, maybe you live with dementia, depression, anxiety. I bring all of the art supplies to you and we sit and create free flowing art. I want people to realize that you don't have to be an artist to create art. It is everywhere and there are no rules. If you create it and you love it then it's art! I have been selling my pieces since I was 12 years old. The first drawing I ever did was of a pheasant on a log...I added some color and then had my dad's printer print up 25 of them...They sold out in 1 week! I made $250 in one week and I was 12. This was the turning point for me. My dad is an artist and photographer and an amazing one, at that. He taught me to create and sell. dad with nikon.jpgI learned everything about the art industry from my daddio. He didn't realize how much his words would effect me in my adult life. This is an original by my dad, Dennis Hepworth. He is my inspiration.

I hustle everyday to sell or even give away my art. I love to create something and give it away...only to find out that it is exactly what the person wanted. I don't know how I can do that sometimes. I guess I get into the person's head a bit and realize their vision. I want to inspire others to create from their heart and soul. We never know our full capacity to create until we try. I didn't know I could build with wood until I built a chicken coop with my hubby. phone pics 066.jpgIt is the same with creating a painting or a drawing. Just go for it...who cares what it looks like. It's the act of doing that makes it so special. So, I have some big classes booked for the next few months. Teaching people with brain injuries how to express themselves on paper, glass and wood. We are even going to sculpt a bit! Life should be fun and exciting.
alive and well 2.jpgGo out and try something new today. Something that maybe you wouldn't do normally. Today, for inspiration, I am heading to a hot springs to clear my mind, rest my bones and get ideas for the next art class. Have a spectacular day and do something different and fun!**
