Is teleportation coming soon?

Imagine being able to step into a chamber, have your molecules and other sub atomic gunk scrambled and beamed across the universe, only to appear in a different location. How super awesome that would be! Perhaps, it would look something like this!

yes but not soon

Perhaps one day :)

I think theres the ethical and moral dilemma that you are actually beong killed in one place and simply replicated in another.

True, but if we could connect two points in space and just walk from point a to b, that would be different!

Well the idea is awesome but look at that art work.... Looks like an ethereal stain glass windowed room in an other world dimension where nothing is as it seems or is it?

It is exactly what you think it is, whatever that may be :)

Could be. Technically, feelsomoon is right, though. It is having your molecules separated and then smashed back together somewhere else. Is it still even really you, or just a clone?

It would not be you if it were done star trek style, but what if it were stargate style? :)

Thought provoking! upvoted and followed!

Thanks, and I followed back, as I tend to do :)

hmmm... interesting thought. I kind of envisioned Wonka Vision.. LOL

Yummm! Chocolate water and fizzy soda please!

I read many years ago about successful teleportation. I think it was Australia or Germany that was able to teleport non organic matter through concrete wall about 3 feet away. there was something about biological teleportation that was the failure at that time. I know it was in a science journal from I think 96 or 98. I have not sense found anything about successful biological or organic teleportation sense then.

I remember reading that atoms had been successfully 'teleported' a short distance. This was several years ago, who knows what is being done secretly in some lab.

There is no telling what might happen in the future :)

Beam Me Up Steemit!

Bzzzzzzzzap Oh snap, whered he go?!
