Huh, I can't avoid telling this story here:) I do linocuts, but it's really hard to buy special linoleum. I mean, it's aviable in art stores, but it's damn expensive. So today I bought some from my friends who have etching workshop (to compare prices the same size piece of linoleum costed me 2 euro, while in the art store it costs 40 euro). And it didn't fit to put it in my bag. And it was dirty, scary, and with torn edges. And I had to take it home somehow, so I just was holding it in hands while taking a subway. Oh my God, how people looked at me... I think the most pleasent thought was "A crazy girl has stolen somewhere a piece of rubbish":) They had no idea that it was a priceless art material:)

from 2 to 40€ what?!?! well.. I can relate to that haha.. In my country half the stuff is overpriced or simply inexistent and you can't even buy them online (sigh).. But it is so rewarding when you finally get your hands on that precious material.. Passion is what makes us do crazy things for our work in order to do the best :D
