The moon is drawn a circle in the coordinate sky,
And the numbers on the table were already tired of waiting,
Today I will have to forget about the overnight stay:
Ruler, pencil, open notebook.

The elegance of the ways of the proposed solutions,
The harmony of the moves of the structure of theorems -
In the boundless ocean of midnight reflection
I again leave together with the Château d'Ichem.

Like paints on canvas, like notes of a scale
Born to the light behind the rustle of pages
Unbridled ideas crazy cavalcade
And it fills the brain with the droning of chariots.

Here the formulas of a bird wedge on a white veil
The sheet-book will break into sharp salt,
And variable chorus in the violin integral
An inky strophe will build a polonaise.

With the movement of the hand I create architecture
Simple and clear rhymes of the poem of being,
Calculations consonance, and algebra texture,
And I'm no longer here, and I'm no longer me.

But the moonlight fades, which seemed bottomless,
And we are on the deck with the Château d'Ichem alone,
Silent ocean, only behind the window glass
Flickering fires in the distance.

И цифры на столе уже устали ждать,
Сегодня мне забыть придётся о ночлеге:
Линейка, карандаш, раскрытая тетрадь.

Изящество путей предложенных решений,
Гармония ходов структуры теорем -
В безбрежный океан полночных размышлений
Я снова ухожу вдвоём с «Шато д’Икем».

Как краски на холсте, как ноты звукоряда
Рождается на свет за шорохом страниц
Невзнузданных идей шальная кавалькада
И наполняет мозг гуденьем колесниц.

Здесь формул птичий клин на белом покрывале
Тетрадного листа сорвётся в соль-диез,
И переменных хор в скрипичном интеграле
Чернильною строфой построит полонез.

Движением руки творю архитектуру
Простых и чётких рифм поэмы бытия,
Расчётов консонанс, и алгебры текстуру,
И я уже не здесь, и я уже не я.

Но меркнет лунный свет, казавшийся бездонным,
И мы с «Шато д’Икем» на палубе одни,
Безмолвен океан, лишь за стеклом оконным
Мерцают вдалеке фрактальные огни.
