Massive Attack, because the place of appearing and the time of their creation coincided with the band's tour, Robert del Naja, according to researchers from the Queen Mary University of London, who used geographical profiling and "Mail on Sunday" was to be the artist Robin Gunningham, whom the representatives denied ... among the Banksy candidates is also mentioned, among others, the person who registered the domain of the Banksy website, which is photographer Stephen Lazarides, which was repeatedly regarded as the true identity of the artist. However, Lazarides claims that he is solely his manager and the author of most of the photographs for one of his publications, he also has the rights to sell reprints of his works; and closer to the unknown Robin Banksy or Robert Banks. However, let's say that this is not the most important thing. Banksy is a brand in itself.
He usually places his works in non-standard, often risky places, combining an original idea with a humorous-sarcastic message, often in political themes - using slogans or commonly known symbols, using a technique that is a synthesis of graffiti and templates. He also directed the Oscar-nominated Exit Through the Gift Shop. He also creates installations, is the author of several album covers of well-known bands (like Blur), participates in performances, also deals with the most famous paintings in the world, adding him his characteristic style. The general message of his works is anti-capitalist, anti-war and pacifist.

Thanks to its mystery and the level of work done, Banksy became the object of cult among graffiti artists and other young people. His work became recognizable; they are often used, for example, as symbols in tattoos. And, to be honest, I'm not surprised at all because his works tell us something, they have their message, which is somehow effective because it is reflected in society. I think that he is the master of the performance, focusing our attention on the topic that matters to him in such a way that we ourselves want it. Chapeau bass.
I recommend to you his last action, when right after the auction of one of his paintings "Girl with a Baloon" (Girl with Balloon), the picture has been half self-destructing, drawn into a frame like a paper shredder. Of course, the action was planned, and the price of the picture has already increased by USD 2 million (currently about USD 3 million, sold for USD 1.1 million). Banksy himself posted a video on the network with stunned auction participants and a destroyed image. "Goes, goes, went" - he commented on Instagram. It does not change the fact that Banksy is still not recognized, and the video looks like it was recorded from several places in the hall at the same time.
