Oh man, you totally reminded me this time of those Korean lunches, kind of old school military style, maybe a couple sausage links, or spam, a few sides of different kim chi, maybe the rice made purple with some of those beans mixed in with it....all served in a little metal try box kind of thing. I wonder if my memory serves me right, been about 10 years since I've had one. They were not serving this for lunch there were they?
