Grasshopper is a herbivorous insect, or a type of insect that has an antenna, which is almost always shorter than its body. The mantle is usually produced by rubbing the femur behind it against the front wing, or by flapping its wings while flying.
These insects are generally winged although their wings are sometimes unusable to fly.
This may sound like a weird question but have you tried grasshopper protein? I haven't been able to get my hands on some but it is supposed to be one of the best sources of protein out there!
