I am always torn on such an issue as your describe. Certainly there are efforts to protect people but, at the same time, people need to be responsible. Using the analysis of someone else, as an adjunct to one's own research, is fine. However, relying on someone else to make decisions for one, especially off the Internet is down right dangerous, if not borderline stupid.
There are many on here using different models of TA (and fundamental for what that is worth)...and all arrive at different conclusions. Are any of them worth following? I guess if one believes in the particular technique used, then sure...but one still needs to not blindly adhere to what one is posting.
If that is the case, the buyer beware banner needs to go up.
There seems to be two rules that apply no matter what the market:
Rule 1: never risk more than you can afford to lose
Rule 2: do your own research to make your own decisions.
