I was sitting on my patio this morning with a steaming cup of coffee and I was thinking about a fight I had with a close friend of mine.
It got me thinking, we as human beings are so afraid of being alone. We end up putting up with so much that we shouldn't. I feel we need to disabuse our minds of stigma associated with being alone. Even though I do agree, being alone isn't fun but that doesn't mean we should accept being disrespected, hurt or mentally abused by our 'friends'.
Narcissism is a real thing, it is very real, and it is very dangerous, because the thing about narcissists are excellently skilled in disguising themselves as your friends, family member or partner.
I have seen first hand the affects of narcissistic behavior on people I love and care about.
Please don't feel like you have to stay with these people because they're all you have because I can almost guarantee that you will find someone that will love all of you and that is what I hope for each and everyone of you.
If you are being mentally or psychically abused, please, please don't be afraid of leaving.
This is not what your life is meant to be.
i read from somewhere that millennials are most likely to be narcissists
