Best time in the Alberta prairies is harvest time! Taken in Red Deer Alberta at Bowden Farms. Spent an afternoon getting lost in a sunflower maze at this popular local attraction where I later had a photo-shoot with a friend and her daughter. Our wet summer and lack of sunshine didn't allow the flowers to grow as big as they normally do but still the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 Steem in total.
Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #103 - winner announcement!
@axeman Asian Sunday entry:
This time nice view from Sharjah, UAE. This is of smallest and "poorest" Emirates but most religiously concerned... There are no so many skyscrapers than in Dubai, but still much more than in my city.. :D Here had quite a luck to catch sun's halo on sunset. Though pretty hard shooting conditions straight against the sun and without LEE gradient filter. So had to gather a lot of information from the shadows to get building details, but well, good enough I hope. Enjoy the scenery!

This is Cape Reinga, located at the northern part of the North Island in New Zealand. It is 100 kilometers from Kaitaia, the nearest town. "Reinga" is a Māori word which means "the underworld" for which they believe that the place is where the souls enter the underworld.
@marwitt Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans entry:
The way to the SUNSET at the baltic sea! A breathtaking scenery offers this wonderful sunsets after a stormy shower on the Baltic Sea in Warnemünde. The seagull can also enjoy the beautiful tranquility on the beach and the fishing boat in the background drives to the sunset. A moment of peace and relaxation at the beach of Warnemünde. That´s the way of life!

One of many beautiful old churches found in the city of Merida. Home to almost a million people, Merida is the biggest city of the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico. It is known for stunning colonial architecture dating back to centuries ago.
Chipmunks ara a type of squirrel native of North America, and one of the particularities beside the stripped furs. They construct extensive burrows (holes in the ground). I took this photo while I was hiking in Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada.
Puente Yayabo, Sancti Spiritus, Cuba
I spent New Year's Eve 2015 in Sancti Spiritus. This beautiful colonial city is often overlooked by tourists since most people favour the smaller yet more popular nearby town of Trinidad. This bridge is one of the architectural gems of the city.

The Way to Hollywood Hills!
No, it's not a screenshot from GTA but a photo from the back streets of Hollywood Hills. Impressive motifs can be discovered there on the way to Hollywood lettering.
I also posted the photo on my Marwitt | The WAY of LIFE blog.

Walking the path of the ridges was a nice experience. One of the most beautiful landscape I had the chance to see while hiking. I would go back anytime!
Starship
An isolated nocturnal thunderstorm lights up the night sky with a beautiful display lightning, which is flashing inside and under this cloud formation that seems to resemble some sort of spaceship ready to head for the stars above. This storm is dumping heavy rain as it passes over some distant mountains to the West. Sedona Arizona USA.
