1000 Followers

Today is a great day for me in regards to Hive. Hive Fest in Amsterdam, Netherlands was announced and I hit 1000 followers.

I like to celebrate and 1000 followers is a great reason to celebrate... or at least make a fun post!

If you are like me then you choose who you follow carefully. In addition to making interesting content I make it a goal to comment on other people's posts too and want to get to know people in the Hive community.

Art Talk
At least once a month I post about art. During 2022 I am highlighting artists. I also created the Art talk community. Feel free to post about art here and we can talk about it.

Plants

One of my favorite subjects to photograph are plants. I have blogged about my personal garden and gardens that I visit. Recently I started a new series called Plant Profile. I will highlight one plant a month.

Splinterlands

I got into Splinterlands at the very beginning. I played some then. Now the players are so much better then me, so I rent out my cards. I also have a little bit of land and am excited about the next stage of the game. I also do posts called Crypto Talk. They are short tutorials on information related to crypto, mainly Splinterlands.

Photography

Sharing my photography
Blogging is great cause it motivates me to get out and keep taking pictures. Then when I have pictures edited it motivates me to blog. It is a great cycle.

It is important to me that the photos in my post are mine. It the rare case I use someone else's photo, like @jarvie, I will give credit. I also feel strongly that I site the sources I use to write my posts.

Photo Games
@photogames just ended its 4th season. This games is what got me into Hive and the community is why I stayed. For the past two season I have been the moderator and have enjoyed bringing back this fun game.
