| Today it's not a flashback for a change. I have to get out of the rot, so after 2 months of staying at home, last week I started cycling again to get some new pictures. Yesterday, on my 2nd outing after the break, I spent some time at the coast. Got some nice photos for this post. | Heute ausnahmsweise mal keine Rückschau. Muß endlich mal den Arsch hochbekommen. Also bin ich letzte Woche nach 2 Monaten des Stubenhockens mal wieder etwas geradelt, um Fotos zu machen. Auf meiner 2. Fahrt gestern, blieb ich etwas länger an der Küste. Was einige nette Bilder hervorbrachte. |

| Almost didn't go to the coast, because it started to rain just when I went out. Luckily, I was not intimidated by the few large drops that came down. Although it kept raining, it was so light that I stayed largely dry. The scenery was definitely worth it. | Wäre beinahe nicht zur Küste gefahren, da es gerade dann anfing zu regnen, als ich rausging. Zum Glück ließ ich mich von den großen Tropfen nicht einschüchtern. Der Regen hielt zwar an, aber so leicht, daß ich weitgehend trocken blieb. Die Szenerie war es definitiv wert. |

| I like these holes in the clouds with rays of sunshine breaking through. Was so impressed that I dropped down to my knees, from where the waves made for some nice darker athmosphere: | Mir gefallen diese Löcher in den Wolken mit den durchbrechenden Sonnenstrahlen. So beeindruckt war ich, daß ich in die Knie ging, was die Atmosphäre etwas verdüsterte: |

| The north coast of the Gulf of Patras was pretty gloomy. But that would change a while later. | Die Nordküste des Golfes von Patras war auch recht düster. Sollte sich etwas später aber ändern. |

| For the time being I focused my attention on the beach around my feet. Found another nice meat stone: | Für's erste konzentrierte ich mich auf den Strand zu meinen Füßen. Wo ich mal wieder einen Speckstein fand: |

| Nearby was some kind of uprooted seaweed. Drying out, it showed some nice structure. Still life with pebbles: | In der Nähe war etwas entwurzelter Seetang. Austrocknend zeigte sich eine interessante Struktur. Stilleben mit Kieseln: |

| Found some more interesting rocks. Very nice structure, although I'm not sure whether they are natural, or not. As you can see, there is quite some artificial stuff around, like pieces of tiles, ground down by the sea: | Fand auch wieder interessante Steine. Auch interessant gemustert, bin mir aber nicht sicher, ob sie natürlich sind, oder nicht. Wie man sieht, liegt dort auch ziemlich viel Schutt, wie vom Meer abgeschliffene Stücke von Ziegeln. |

| This rat must have died not much earlier, I suppose. The eyes had not yet started to drie out & only a few flies were present. It looks like it simply drowned, because there were no wounds visible. | Diese Ratte war vermutlich noch nicht lange tot. Die Augen hatten noch nicht angefangen, einzufallen, & es gab nur wenige Fliegen. Sieht aus, als sei sie einfach ertrunken, denn man sieht keine Wunden. |

| A bit strange, honestly. The fur looks quite nice, so it seems to have been healthy. Perhaps it found something tasty under a rock near the waterline & then was surprised by a heavier wave. | Etwas seltsam, ehrlich gesagt. Das Fell sieht gut aus, also war sie wohl gesund. Vielleicht hatte sie etwas Leckeres unter einem Felsen gefunden & wurde von einer größeren Welle überrascht. |

| On the sea, meanwhile, a ferry was coming in & the sun still had that one hole to shine through. | Auf See gab es aber auch was zu sehen. Eine Fähre kam an, während der Heiligenschein sich verengt hatte. |

| Oh well, some bigger holes in the north, lighting up the north coast a bit. Good enough for the title picture. But the sun was slowly going down & I didn't expect much of a sunset. & since I wanted to eat, I didn't wait much longer & went home.
