Other Niche Communities Curation Report #1014

OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1014th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Keep Calm And Carry On

I've already done two loads of washing. Now dry, folded and packed. Laundry is one of the should be small things that become a bigger thing when you're moving around without transport of your own.

I wash the dishes and tidy the house as I pack. Now also a part of my preparation to move on. I clean each place I stay in methodically and thoroughly before I go. It's my process of saying farewell to a part of this experience consciously mindfully.

My experience at the top of the sky

Life in the city is hectic and stressful. From early in the morning, the noise of cars and people rushing through the streets wakes me up. During the day, the traffic and crowds never seem to end, and I often feel overwhelmed by the amount of things I have to do.

One more day searching for ruins (part 1)

A bit rainy day today but I say grab any chance given for urbexing as the weather will get worse next days. I had to cross patches of mud to make it to my next target and as you can see below under this mix of mud and gravel is where my rear right tire is:

Salir de tu zona te confort te puede llevar al éxito / Getting out of your comfort zone can lead to success

Many times we do not achieve our goals and dreams for fear of leaving our comfort zone, that is where we feel safe, we avoid problems and feel we have the whole situation under control, but there are times in our life that we have to take on challenges to achieve success, it is not easy, we are afraid of the future and we have doubts in our head and a big question: are the changes worth it?

EXPERIENCE A NICE BITE AT PIZZA AMELIA

Hello, dear Hivers! How are you doing? I hope everything is fine. Today I'd like to introduce a PIZZA House in Medellin that completely satisfied my taste. While traveling from Daanbantayan, the last town in the Northern, Cebu going home, we felt an emptiness in our stomach. We attended the burial of my sister's mother-in-law, and we had a long trip and felt exhausted. We stop for a while at Población, Medellin, Cebu to look for a snack and rest for quite some time from a long journey. There I found a PIZZA section. We entered inside and felt comfortable. The PIZZA section is named PIZZA AMELIA.

A tale of Tails .... Not the AVATAR type Blue humanoids ones! 🤣

Centerstage and the most distinguished of course, is the Peacock. A long tail with 3-4 feet length and a myriad of shimmering colors as well as 'evil eye' kind of patterns, this is one of the most dazzling tales in the avian kingdom..

Pushing Through The 1st Month ☄️

I didn’t set any New Year’s resolution or lofty goals but what I am doing is pushing through on my intentions. I managed to keep up my workout at the gym and have increased it to twice a week every other week ( used to be once a week last year). I’d really like to make it every week twice a week but…….

The rain that returns to watering the plants

Hello gardeners wherever you are, I can't believe we are already at the end of January, how are all of your plants doing, is everything going well, what season is it now there?

rainy season and dry season, maybe that's what I should write in the title of my post, the weather at my place is completely unpredictable for now, I thought the rainy season was over, but he came back and damaged some of my plants, even the banana garden which I cleaned up a few days ago was again submerged in floods, really apprehensive

Today is a day like any other... And that's the good news

There's a lot of alarming talk on the internet on where we're going with AI and the danger of it destroying humanity. When I watch this stuff I tend to enter the low vibrations of fear, but then I remember that's precisely the goal of that kind of content. AI might destroy us, or it might not. I think there's something more dangerous, and it's the people who're financing this and those who work day after day to make it happen.

Ladies of Hive contest #119: Leaving my comfort zone helped me achieve one of the things I wanted to do ever since I was a child.

When I was still in high school, my parents were very strict. They cannot allow me to go out at night like some young students around my age do. There's a pain inside me because, of course, who wouldn't feel like that? I was jealous and envious of them because they could go out and have fun with some friends. However, there's also some relief that I didn't go because I was an introvert, and a part of me understands why my parents are being like that because they are just being careful, and it's not like they want to be selfish by not wanting me to experience the happiest moments of life while I am still young. They are just being protective because, in those years, going out at night was not that safe anymore, and they couldn't also trust those people around me to not do anything bad.
