Hello Hivers,
While out on a walk with an audiobook recently, I came across a fairly large monitor lizard - about 2 meters from snout to tail end. They are no longer so uncommon, as they are not subjected to human interference and the canals that they visit have a lot of fish.
The image here is a snapshot from a video that I took.
If you are keen to know more, then check out this resource from the National Parks Board, Singapore: Monitor Lizards
Do let me know if you would like me to post more photos of nature that I encounter during my walks along the Park Connector Network
Cheers & have a great day!
