How to Stop Worrying and Start Living.jpg

Are you searching for a book that can help you to stop worrying? I highly recommend How To Stop Worrying and Start Living by Dale Carnegie. This book will help you to conquer worry. You will learn how worrying affects your daily life.

"Our main business is not to see what lies dimly at a distance, but do what lies clearly at hand" - Thomas Carlyle

I will share one technique that I've learned from reading this book. The Living In a Day-Tight Compartment, this is the secret of success of Sir William Osler. The only possible way you can prepare for the future is to concentrate all your intelligence, all your enthusiasm, on doing today's work.

The problem of tomorrow, added the problem of yesterday will consume all your energy. Shut off, the future as tightly as the past. The FUTURE is TODAY! Stop worrying about the past as well as the future. Focus only for TODAY'S work. Seize the Day!

What technique can you share to stop worrying?

Welcome to Steemit! Great post.

interesting thanks

Thank you! :)

Great share my friend ! It's certainly a book worth checking up. I fully agree. You need to stop thinking about the future and you need to appreciate the present more in order to live a great life.

Thank you @mrrobert96. As Troy Amdahl says,. Count our blessings, not our problems, and you will realize how beautiful your life truly is. :)

The best advice I think anyone can give to help someone stop worrying is the Serenity prayer, whether you believe in God or not, it is helpful to try and understand that you should only focus and concentrate on things that you have absolute control over. I think the short list is your thoughts, actions and reactions. Anything else and you will be consumed with frustration. Great post.

@bap7643. Very great and uplifting prayer. Thank you so much for sharing!

You're welcome, we too often get bogged down in the things we have zero control over, the sooner people can realize this the easier it is to move forward. It's not easy but it needs to happen. Keep on steeming!

Great book, one of Dale's best.

Yes, it is @seasonfoods7. A very great and practical techniques that we can apply in our daily life. :)
