I have PLANS to fix up the old garage and change it from basically storage, to a viable work space.
It will be a while tho, lots to be done.
I bought my place Dec 11 2020, and I've made GREAT strides, but it had a LOT of issues.
↓This was what it looked like when I bought it. It still has a dirt floor, but I've cleaned out MUCH of that stuff(including that refrigerator), got elec and lights reconnected↓
Incidentally, I have "glass paints" and have dabbled in a little artwork. I am a 'renowned scrounge'
if I see something someone has thrown out, that is still good or that I can repurpose, I will snag it.
So I give you, the "Microwave Sunrise"
Oh, that would be great @lauralauze, however since I am still almost completely consumed time wise, with getting/keeping my 80 yr old farmhouse up and running and dealing with this stupid pandemic, it will be a while before I will be ready for that.

Wow! You're building a new world world you! And from the outside it already looks neet and elegant. And I can see some cut glass details that naturally catch my interest :))) I´ll follow your progress because I want to see you decoration the interiors, I love interior decoration. But home re-modelation is smth I am on very often hahaha every time I feel the change is needed because the routine creeps in :):):) If nothing else, I move the furniture.....
I´m so glad to meet you!!
I should know this, but what does
smth
signify? Some details, the house was sold by my (now) neighbors in Aug 2020 for $125 thousand USD.
It was bought and sold a couple of times by people who "FLIP" houses, the last one did SOME work, they "remodeled" the kitchen
(anything you see other than the bare walls and counters, was me moving in)
And they added an AC unit to the existing Gas Furnace HVAC system, prior to that, the previous occupants used window AC units. (I just 2 months ago had to replace the entire HVAC system, the outside AC unit they added was too small, the furnace was too old, so I spent nearly $8,000 to replace it all) and, since the large back room had no bathroom (therefore couldn't really be considered a bedroom) they CREATED a bathroom where none was present before.
New walk in shower, new vanity, USED TOILET!😱 (who the hell puts a used toilet, complete with mineral stains and rust) in a new bathroom? I'm pretty sure, the builder paid for a new one, the idiots on the ground took that one home, and brought me the old one from their house)
So it was listed for sale in NOVEMBER 2020 for $199,000 USD.
There were other people bidding on it, so I upped my offer to $205 K USD, and that is what I paid (am paying)
Before the process was complete, I was told that the value had already jumped up to $217 K USD, so right out the gate, I had $12K equity.
I wish you could come visit.
Since this is still your post, I don't want to put any more photos of my place here, because that would be spamming your postThanks @lauralauze, I'm happy to meet you too.
Dear Jerry, I can sense how worried you have been about all this ordeal. Things happen for a reason and after the rain sun always comes back to dry our tears and open our hearts with rays of hope.
Focus on what is the ideal situation that you would like to manifest in your life - and shine all your bliss atoms towards that vision. If you let it - it has to come to pass. That's Law. That's physics. Even the old bathroom pot can morph into the newest HiTech Intelligent WC with LED lights, relaxing music and sensors that automatically flush the water!
Sending you a huge bucket of good vibes and keep in touch! Let´s get that house in shape!!
PS: Yeah, you are right, you have put quite a bit of photos that are unrelated to my introduction, but you can always take them down when you decide.
Apart from that I have no objection having this lovely chat with you. And thank you for the invitation, - who knows, when you have a new WC-pot I might travel to see that marvel!! :)
I love you!
PPS: "smth" is my abreaviation of "something":)
The one that I was unhappy with is the "New" one back here in my bedroom.
I have a fully furnished spare room, and a smaller front room with a bed.
You come on as soon as you can my friend
I have plenty of pots to "go" in ha ha 😈🤣FYI @lauralauze, I have two WC-pots (I assume WC means Water Closet? Oh my, if so I have not heard that term in a very long time)
