My son is 10 now, and since his early childhood he likes comics readind. Later when he was elder, he started to paint comics by himself. Now he paints nothing else except comics;) It's his big passion, and I support him as much as I can.
Unfortunately in our city there are no comics courses for kids, so I found an online course, and he studies it now. Painting comics is not so easy as I thought before!
You should have painting skills, but moreover, you should have skills to divide your story into small pictures and to show your characters in movements and from different points.
My son has never studied classical painting so it's not easy for him to transfer what he has in his head to the paper, buthe tries, and he likes it. Don't know what will be his courses results, he hasn't finished it yet, but before the start his painting looked like this
He is a fan on Ninja Turtles, so he often paints stories about them;)

Now he says he wants his future profession to be connected with comics painting.
Who knows, maybe we see the start of his career now;)
Very cool. I never had the patience and eye for drawing, and I appreciate people who have this skill.
Looks awesome.
oh, thanks! he isn't a good painter for now, but he does what he likes, and it's cool;)
