- Go to https://dreemport.com/ and create an account for yourself there
- Read the contest details and follow the instructions here: Distant Thoughts Abound
- Write your entry - prose, poetry, etc. focused on the word 'Distant' - be creative and original
- Publish your entry on the internet wherever you like
- ON THE DAY of the contest (September 27th) log in to https://dreemport.com/
- Curate five (5) articles there on Dreemport
- Submit your original entry on Dreemport on the 27th within the specified time window

hi @idlemind this is because Tuesday submissions were for dreem-wotw contest submissions only and you shared your URL for the Ink Well Prompt, which is a different writing contest. You would have been very welcome to have shared the Ink Well post on any other day this week (just not today Tuesday). Did you do that by mistake? Do you have a dreem-wotw entry that you meant to share? If so, I can pop it into Dreemport for you... just let me know in the next 15 minutes as I am headed to bed shortly :-)

Once a post has been shared to Dreemport, and screened, you can no longer retract it. I honestly thought from our conversations that you were going to share an entry for dreem-wotw contest. Today was the only day this week that was restricted to a specific type of submission. It will always state on the submission page whether the day is for General Submissions or Challenge posts only or dreem-wotw posts only.
Please do another one today, it's sure to be accepted 🙌

No, curation is not voting, it is evaluating.
"Curating" is evaluating an article for certain characteristics.
In the case of Dreemport, you must become a member there and read about the criteria for curating. The basic requirements for a Dreemport article to be acceptable are that the author provide information about the source of any images they use (and using copyrighted images is forbidden) as well as a very strict "no plagiarism" policy. The article cannot be a copy of someone else's work, not even a "rewrite" that draws too heavily from another article.
You will need to read and evaluate/curate five articles before you can submit your own article.
