My response to the @Indiaunited Contest - Theme: "My Perfect Weekend: If I Could Plan It My Way”
For me the idea of a perfect weekend is being outdoors. I do not like to sit at home over the weekends, I would love to spend my time outdoors but provided the weather is good. If it's peak summer then I would want to avoid that and prefer to sit at home. Through out the week I am home and it's all about work, even if I step out it's for work so over the weekend I would love to break through all the routines and be outdoors.
Outdoors does not mean it has to be hectic, after all it's weekend so it needs to be relaxed, so I would not want to go to any place that demands waking up early. I would want to start at ease. The perfect destination would be an overnight mountain stay or a beach stay, or just even a day outing will do to these places will do, but yes and overnight will be ideal. The outing should be adventurous where possibly we can do camping, hiking, with other leisure activities like barbeque and bonfire. It will always be fun to go out with friends for such things.
If I will plan, I will start the day by around 10 a.m. with a group of friends, travel to a mountain which would not be more then 2 hours of drive. Thankfully in the region I live, there are lots of options available. Once I reach there, there is no set thing, then it's all leisure, can do some hiking, have lunch, relax and then evening time after the sunset, do a bonfire, for food make some barbeque food and with some music and dance have fun with friends till late night. I do this often with my friends and thankfully we are all likeminded people who enjoy doing these things.

It's boring to be home and do the same household chores and spend time. After all life is to explore, have fun and just not work and work all the time. During summers also going up to the mountains is nice because while the city is hot, up there it's nice and pleasant and during winters we need many layers, but then that's also good fun. It can be a beach, mountain or desert, any place, it just needs to be an open nature place.
