On a bright day, white clouds like cotton decorate the sky of the Malacca Strait coast, north of Aceh on the island of Sumatra. The clouds move in procession in the local language known as "Awan Meuarak."
The movement of thin clouds can be observed by the normal eye view, and it moves in the wind slowly disappearing without a trace.
There are also clouds that appear solid, moving slowly, lifting clusters of clouds vertically, by experts identify it as Cumulonimbus cloud.
The phenomenon of cloud movement will look amazing in the timelapse footage. Here I am sharing a timelapse that I have converted to a 15-second gif format at 12.5 fps.
For the video footage in 4k format, I distribute them commercially to VideoHive by Envato Market. Since August 21, 2023, I've been approved to be a stock footage author on Envato Elements, where my photo and stock footage works are available. The sound of the camera's automatic shutter mounted on a tripod was heard vaguely with 1-second intervals from a distance of two meters from my position. Sometimes the sound of the camera shutter is drowned out by the sound of small ripples hitting the rocky beach embankment.
I did the process of making the timelapse in the sea embankment area of Hagu and Pusong Village, Lhokseumawe, Aceh. A location for relaxation and enjoying the seascape in the afternoon. Look at the man in the green t-shirt in the image below, he is my colleague @AnzirPasai, he is also busy with his camera.
Anyone can visit that place at any time without charge, usually on weekend afternoons it will be crowded with visitors and their families. Those planning to linger there usually bring snacks and drinks.
The community who live around the zone does not disturb tourists who are relaxing, they will be friendly if greeted.
The children there also ignore the tourists, they are too focused on their own aims and objectives. I think it will make tourists feel comfortable.
I shot toward the northwest, where there was a special landing route for fishing boats or canoes. The view of the sky is not decorated with clumps of clouds like in the southeast.
I enjoyed and relaxed there, producing a timelapse while sitting comfortably on an elephant rock (batu gajah; as we call it) which refers to the sea embankment rocks composed of andesite rocks.

Oh unfortunately now I've spent a lot of time at work. actually I really miss the blue sky and shooting from all angles. 📸
The last few days the sky has been very bright dotted with cumulonimbus clouds, let's go.
