Not far from Niš and at the foot of Suva Planina, there is a region that the locals call Zaplanje. Beautiful landscape, surrounded by hills, and dotted with wide plateaus. In the village of Barbeš is my wife's family estate.
The village itself is quite deserted, with almost no young people, but several older families are determined to stay and still find their peace right here. Since I have been thinking about moving and living in the countryside, I often visit this area and use every opportunity to get to know the environment and opportunities as well as possible.
After the first visit, this place immediately became one of my favorites.
