Golden hour: Father Bernatek footbridge with flying acrobatic in Krakow, Poland

in Photography Lovers9 months ago

Hey guys, today I would like to share with you a couple of photos of the famous Bernatek Bridge, my most favorite bridge in the beautiful Polish city of Krakow.

The bridge is quite modern, it was open in 2010 and it connects the city neighborhood of Kazimierz and Podgorze.
Spanning the Wisla River, the bridge was design only for pedestrians and cyclists (they both have their own side of the bridge) but not for cars, they are not allowed there.

The Bernatek Bridge is very popular with young people and couples who like to attach the love padlocks to it. What also makes this bridge so nice and special is the creative decoration by the renowned Polish artist Jerzy Kedziora who created several beautiful gymnast sculptures for the bridge. The sculptures are suspended down from the bridge construction and they move with the wind, which makes them look ever more real and impressive.
Enjoy the photos 😉

Moc krásné fotečky z našeho oblíbeného mostu :) To si zaslouží i podporu od TipU a nominaci do mé sobotní rubriky :*
