Rachel IS Malificent
Rachel is one of my favourite models, I really enjoy working with her. She is just a joy to work with, and incredibly photogenic. We usually shot fashion/lifestyle so I was a little surprised when I got an invitation to join a "Malificent" themed shoot with her. Obviously though, I jumped at the chance.
Original shot
If I'm honest the location wasn't the best - not really suited to the theme - and I wasn't *that * happy with most of the shots. A couple I did like though.
An alternative edit
I often get carried away in photoshop, creating images and trying out different tools and ways of changing (and hopefully) improving the images. Mostly these 'shopped images don't see the light of day; they just sit on my hard drives taking up space.
Her precious?
I managed to get a few images that I felt are reasonably ok. And they seem to be doing well on other platforms I use.

This one is another image I quite like, although I think the smoke helped. I was on a group shoot with people I didn't know and, to be honest, it was a bit of a free for all. Everyone jumping in, getting in the way. It got to the point where I just held back and clicked off some shots when I got the chance.

I don't like group shoots. Apart from the fact that it seems to be, for some, a race to get images up, I find it really limits creativity and individuality. You set up a shot and everyone jumps in, or people hog the model. Its not so bad, when you work with friends who have the same mindset. Sometimes, that can help push creativity as, when you're working with like minded people, you tend to inspire each other. Unfortunately, this shoot wasn't one of those shoots (although I did enjoy it). But I will leave this post here now as I've got to prepare for a group shoot today. With friends.
About me:
I can mostly be found shooting models, aviation, motorsports and, when I can, wildlife. But I enjoy most aspects of photography. You can find more of my work on the links below.

She is extremely suitable to pull off that character. Great shots!
@castleberry she is. She was perfect for it, plus she is nearly 6ft tall, it made her very imposing. And thank you
Omg. This is wonderful 🥰🥰🤩🤩
@farideh.shahedi thank you very much. Really appreciate it
Fantastic shots, thanks for sharing. This must have been a huge effort to set up.
@richardslater thank you. It was the make up that took the time, always the same with these sort of shoots.
The title is awesome. She is looking fit in all these shots.
@tehseen-akhtar thank you very much. She is a remarkable lady
You are welcome.
Crikey, I didn't even recognize Rachel!
These are flippin' fab mate. The intital shots look decent, but I do prefer the edited ones, they help create a bit more 'atmosphere'.
Oh and group shoots generally suck, but we both already knew that eh? 😅
@dannewton thanks very much mate. To me, it was the worst possible location. Rachel did a magnificent job, really looks the part. And yep, group shoots. Sort of ok with friends, but with people who don't know each other, some of which don't usually shoot models, it just becomes an absolute bun fight. I left early. Didn't take many shots and most I didn't like. So I agree, group shoots do suck 😂
The model who is very sincere with her work, and then whatever she get up, every look of her starts to suit her.
And yeah I'm sure this model live on your expectations because her expression, her looks, her energy level, everything is on point.😊
The picture you edited on First is exactly matching this theme.💕
Thank you for your kind words
My pleasure ✨
