In Sickness and In Health...

in Music4 days ago

Miss 1 day, random occurrence. Miss 2 days, start getting worried, Miss 3 days, a streak is brewing.
I refused to miss 4 days in a row though. That's why even though my body at the brink of shutting down due to illness (suspecting malaria/typhoid), I decided to rally all my cells. Jazz up and pick three tunes for a post today.

Granted, today I haven't had the chance nor energy to listen to music or any loud thing, nor even had the strength or care to read any novel.
Just been sleeping, trying to eat and keep the food down and managing the pounding headache and brewing fever.
The fever is down and headache is now like a low hum leaving me some lee way to think of which songs to pick.

I didn't have to think too much as for the past couple weeks I've been bringing tunes from different talented artists, I brought just three tunes from Juice Wrld and Benson Boone when everyone knows they have loads more beautiful songs.

Hence this entry would be a mix match with a tune each of these artists and one secret tune.

Ghost Town ~ Benson Boone

It's no secret now that Benson specializes in love songs. Songs that would wrench your soul and make you realize just how bitter sweet love can be.
This song is no different. Benson recounts describes a heartbreak experience between two people who truly loved each other.
The boy which is the protagonist sings about his doubts about their love to his girlfriend, wondering if she's truly happy with him and asking her if she really wants to go she should allow him to destroy their memories to at least numb the pain.

Lucid Dreams ~ Juice Wrld

This has to be one of the most known songs in the world right now.
It's definitely the most known song of Juice Wrld and one of the few musical tracks to hit a billion views on YouTube.
In Lucid Dreams, Juice Wrld talks about a failed love interest with a destructive girl who cheated on him and broke his heart.

The next song is one that's totally different from the other two but something that I found I like too...

Is it a Crime ~ Rema

Rema is one artist that continues to impress. He climbs higher and higher seemingly building his own ladder rung by rung and this Instagram snippet is the latest step he's built.
After his HIM album, Rema has shown that he has the ability to change styles and make them work, indeed a chameleon of afro beats, he's gone on to borrow the slow soul rap that Wizkid is known for and he's made it his own.
This is just an Instagram snippet that was released ten days ago.
Fans still waiting for the full song and I personally hope this is a promotion for at least an EP or album.
Even though it's just a minute and some seconds, the vibes and tunes stick in your head for way longer...

This is all from me today on @ablaze's #threetunestuesday.

Interesting your selection today, I quite liked it! 💕

Thanks✨

I am so sorry you are still dealing with that illness. I'm glad you found the strength to post today. Hope the illness clears up and doesn't trouble you anymore.

Saw your tip and I love you so much for the comment.
I just needed to post and get rid of the budding inactivity cycle.

Yeah the illness is getting better. At least today I'm not feeling like I'm controlling my body from a gamepad😂😂

Still taking it easy though.

How're you?
