Is that snow?!😳
Old Man Winter, as if to laugh at Silvertop, let loose with an intense flurry of snowflakes today!😲
This is typical Spring weather in the Mountains!☺️
When Silvertop lived in the high country of Colorado, sometimes we would have “ snow squalls” well into June!🥶
Then just as quickly, the next day, the Sun would be back!😎
I did a flashback with the third and fourth photo. It’s hard to believe these photos are only a little over three weeks apart!
The fourth taken yesterday…………….
I worked extra hard yesterday, so Silvertop didn’t feel bad watching the mix of rain and snow coming down from inside!😇
After lunch, Silvertop being the sensible guy he is, put his raincoat on over two sweatshirts, and ventured outside for a hike!☺️
Very quickly, my blue jeans started to become soaked!😅
I figured I could hike to the “High Trail Ridge Top”.
By the time I passed Paul’s log cabin, I realized THAT wasn’t going to happen Lol!
I decided to check on Paul’s cabin, to make sure all the doors were locked.
If you remember last week Paul passed away…………….he was only 62!😮
One single red Rose was hanging from his front door knocker………………..
Paul always had a smile on his face, and I am sure he would be laughing at this thoroughly soaked man standing at his front door………..😇
Stay dry everyone, Silvertop is headed back home…………..
Spring will be here tomorrow………

It is hard to believe that we won't find Paul driving his little electric car up the road, home. Sad...we've lost 2 neighbors lately.

The snow wants to say hello and can't wait till June heheh. Yes the sun will be back till than enjoy life there in snowy mountain.
There is a proverb goes, "Old is gold" and we all are getting older day by day. Decision of nature so we have to accept it. Honestly I want to be forever young heheh!

Yup it going to be a great weekend for me and us. Age is just a number, if you feel you are 18, you’ll be 18 by heart. I'm 8 by heart heheh!

It depends on the temperature my friend. This is how snow occurs in  the spring and fall !😊
I'm not aware it still snows on spring.
During spring time, the weather transitions to warmer weather, but we still get occasional arctic blast from up north that can create intense snow storms! Not to worry summer is almost here Lol!🤗

Paul was still working, I think he enjoyed cooking, and he was a corporate chef!😊
So very sad, 62 isn’t very old, it shocked the neighborhood ….😲
