My Actifit Report Card: November 15 2024

It was another day in which I didn’t get out for a walk before sunset. Oy, these short days!

I worked out while watching a show again, which doesn’t provide a lot of interesting fodder for a blog post! So I will add photos from a recent walk that I haven’t shared yet.

These are from a hike I took a week ago on Saturday. I took way too many pictures for the first blog post from that day, so here are some of the others.

It was a gray day, and threatening rain, but I had a good waterproof coat with a hood. I took a walk through a nature preserve called Westwood Hills, which has a nature center and a lot of work going on to plant and preserve trees.

The trail surrounds a lake and travels through a marsh, so there are many boardwalks built through it to preserve the marsh while creating a safe walking area.

Here are a few views of the lake. The rain had started, and you can see the droplets on the water in the first picture.

It was a wonderful walk in spite of the rain.
