All Aboard,
The Tune Tune Train is on its way again, and this time you can win a 150 Ecency points boost on your latest post if you solve the connection!
The Tune Tune Train connects songs, that can be done in many ways, like 3 times the same artist. I like to make it a bit more difficult for myself. But in essence, it´s as simple as that.
It´s not going to be an easy ride, but no rollercoaster either. Do you get a pretty fair shot at being the first to solve the Tune Tune Trains connection?
This first song will mess with your head, a song played by an iconic band and written by an Iconic singer.
Temple of the Dog - Say Hello 2 Heaven
Damn those years where I was so grunge I was drowning in sorrow, if I wasn´t saved from those days it might have been me Saying Hello to Heaven and not Chris.
Mother Love Bone - Chloe Dancer / Crown of Thorns
One of the all-time favorite songs from another guy that grew up when grunge was king, one of the few songs he discovered before I did. So younger brothers do have a function, they discover this obscure gem for older brothers to remember them by.
This is the grunge version of Bohemian Rapsody or Paradise by the dashboard lights, putting some songs together and ending up with a trough diamond!
Queens of Dogtown - Would?
Chloe, Zoë, potatoes, potato´s. I wouldn´t believe that this singer is Zoë Kravitz. Yes, the Zoë from flowers for Zoë, and her fictional band Queens of Dogtown. They appear in the series Californication together with our X-Files hero David Duchovny, but all of this has nothing to do with the clue to solving the Tune Tune Train connection.
I think I made it quite easy, but that is always the case when you know the answer to the question, what connects these three songs? Leave your answer in the comments, first to get it right, gets a nice Ecency Boost!
The connection and winner will be featured in next week's #TTT

All aboard!!!!!!!!!!! The train is about to leave the station and trust me you want to be on board for this trio of tunes..
Mother Love Bone - Chloe Dancer / Crown of Thorns -- How have I not heard this song before, love it.. No idea what the connection is, but cool idea for a contest, hopefully someone can connect the dots.
Great to be the one to introduce you as it is such an amazing gem, and dots were connected not in a straight line but someone got the answer right. But don't waste your time as you probably have a pile of songs to wrestle tough.
Ya man, cracking tune, gone straight into a few of my playlists ⚡🎸🤘🏻
Wow, nice one, my first time listening to these and I am so having them downloaded.😁😁
Waltzed in through dreemport.
They are a bit classic, but they age well😉
Soul?
Three great songs, but the solution of the riddle seems difficult to me.
Maybe @mypathtofire or @chaosmagic23 can solve it?
It seems quite difficult to me! We need another clue!
@beeber @mypathtofire it is still early I get it, but another clue already. Let me think I don´t want to spoil it for others but you two are the best so I guess you know how to Google? If you google the right thing you should see a similarity somewhere.
I will provide another clue after as I do not want to spoil the investigation, but I might need to make it easier next week.
I have no idea... 🤷♂️
Dogs, the connection is clearly dogs. Dog, Bone, Dog. That's my thinking anyway. I never really watched Californication even though I love "Mulder". I think the big reason was the fact that I refuse to pay for premium channels. I'm a bit of a tight wad I guess. I've been digging into some new music myself lately. Thanks to my teenage niece. She has a really good ear.
Now I am curious about what she advised you to listen to. My son is now 17 and he provided me already a couple of gems, but he also listens to older stuff so I knew some of his suggestions.
temple of the dog---> Dog, Alice in chains -Them bones ----- Duchovny also directed "Judas on a Pole," an episode of Bones, during the show's second season. Damn, that would have been a fun connection, but it does not connect to the second song.
I guess I made it a little too difficult for a first. So let´s add another clue @mypathtofire @beeber Would you like another clue🤐 - The connection sounds very similar to the title of one of the songs
She went to a concert the other night by Conan Gray. I had never heard of him before, but I listened to most of his stuff the other day and it was pretty good. Probably not any of my go-to jams, but I can understand why she likes him. I've been listening to a bit of Grouplove as well. Pretty decent stuff. Speaking of a famous daughter that surprises me. Willow has been kind of fun to listen to lately.
My initial thoughts were that they are all in heaven. But that was maybe too grim!?
I also had the heaven thought but they dont mention in 2nd Song?
Maybe its not direct related to the songs.
So what should we Google @whywhy
Maybe @buffalobison knows the solution :-)
There seems to be a connection with Chris Cornell, Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam. Long hair, ripped jeans and flannel was the dress code 😀
Nice to see you @beeber.
!LUV
@buffalobison(1/1) gave you LUV.

I mean that they have died in real life. The 2nd song, the band lead singer:
"Wood died on March 19, 1990, of a heroin overdose"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temple_of_the_Dog
Eddie Vedder (temple of the dog) ain´t in heaven yet and Alice in Chains' lead singer is still there too (if I am not mistaken. But you found the connection 🤪 @mypathtofire @beeber @buffalobison the answer is in the comment but the whywhy is missing. But I think it´s close enough to spill the beans, do you agree?
are you able to guess a song to answer this from Hannes?

I just saw that the riddle is already solved, congratz to these great detectives :-) I spent the day at a carnival with my family so only just read it. I wonder who you will attribute the win to.
Well Thanks for this very pointed comment ;) and the winner is @mypathtofire as he put in the right connection, even though he did not use all clues.

Thanks @whywhy. That was a great challenge. !CTP
Zoë Kravitz a singer?? What? Lol, I could never have thought. Unfortunately Queens of Dogtown is unavailable in my country so I can’t listen to it from your publication. I’ll go hunting.
These songs are pure classics, love them. Bohemian Rhapsody remains an absolute fave.
Here from #dreemport.
That is indeed very unfortunate as it´s a very well-done cover, and seems indeed that Zoe, from flower for Zoe is a multi-talent hope you can hunt it down and thanks for the nice comment
Does the connection have anything to do with dogs? Lols
#dreemport
Nope nod dogs connecting this weeks Tune Tune Train 😉
