DIY | Buterfly Lamp

I had saved a packet of old candles since so long but never got time for making something with these candles.

So today i have decided to make something out of these candles. And i have started making a lamp out of these candles.

This post is my entry for the #diyelements contest given by diyhub's community. And today I'm going to make diy of fire element.

Traditionally lamps where made of glass or anything else working with fuel and fire flames. And today I'm also going to make my lamp with that Traditional touch and also a little of modern touch 🤪

Materials

• 2 Color Paper
• Glue
• Scissors
• Pencil
• Candle
• Glass or Bottle
• Scale

Procedure

---

After collecting material i have used scale to measure the glass i had for this craft and cut the purple paper with same measurements.
After that i have taken a sample butterfly and start drawing butterflies on purple paper. I have made total 4.

After that i cut the sample butterfly in a smaller size and started drawing 4 butterflies on the yellow paper.

After that i have moved towards the most difficult part of this DIY, The cutting process. Actually i don't hate cutting but in this lamp i have to cut butterflies carefully from the side and not from middle so it was kind of challenging for me without cutter.
In first image I'm showing the part which I'm not going to cut and the other is the results of my cutting.

After cutting i have moved towards the step of attaching yellow butterflies over the purple one, here i have used glue to attach it.

In last step i have attached the paper on the glass with the help of glue. And here's the final results of this butterfly lamp👇

I wasn't expecting it to look so good but it turned actually pretty and looking beautiful on my side table.
