Preparation for Re-Defense

in Hive PHlast year

It's been weeks since our last defense and we aren't defended instead we need to re-defense since there are errors in our paper that need to be changed or fix but our biggest hole is our data gathering that's why panelists told us to fix our data and we need to redefend it.

That's why earlier this morning, I went to campus to check our prototype, we switch off our breaker from the panel since we need to see how much percentage will discharge, and I was surprised to see that for 4 days of discharging, the battery only lose 27 percent from its full charge.

As usual, I'm the one gathering data and I feel confused about what happened since I opened the breaker from the panel to charge our battery it takes 10 seconds to fully charge, that's how powerful our 900W panel is, but when I turned it off the breaker again since I need to test the amount of discharge once there's an e-bike charging but suddenly it decreases to 86%, I let it at that percentage then look for charging port of E-bike.

I look everywhere where's the port that's why I asked my co-member where to find the port and she told me it was on battery and need to remove the adaptor. It's nearly noon and I'm staying under the prototype which the sun still penetrates that's why it's so hot but I have no choice but to monitor.

I monitor the discharge from our battery but sadly I can't see the added percentage on e-bike since I have no key, I waited there for an hour to see what will happen but after 50 minutes our battery discharge stops at 71% which indicates that the e-bike no longer accepts load and at its full charge. I remove the charger and wait for my co-member to come.

We are aiming to charge at least 4 e-bikes to measure the DOD or depth of discharge of our battery since it has a DOD of 75% which means the battery won't be drained and once reached 25% left, it will stop supplying the load. It's so hot outside and we have class at 1 PM, so we look for a room at 108.

At 1:20 PM, class started and there was a reporting that I'm not prepared for, it was a report full of claims and computation and I'm confused about it. Gladly, there's another group who report their topic and I'm lucky to have time to prepare.

This day is too exhausting, hoping for better results from my hard work and hoping that once we redefine, our panel will approve our thesis so that we can book bind it, and place it in the library.

Ano ba course mo @chikakiku ? Are you an engineering student?

Hopefully maging okay na Ang lahat.

ay opo electrical.

Ah I see kaya pala you mentioned charging, panel and etc. Di Ako masyadong Maka relate but I am familiar with the words hehehe
