🔸 Buenos días Hivers, son las 7:00 a.m. y los invito a entrar a mi terraza... este es el sitio de la casa donde más me gusta estar. Es un espacio de "Luces y sombras" que invita a la creación y a la introspección sin mucho esfuerzo, aquí pueden pasar horas y horas sin enterarse de que afuera "el tiempo corre... o el río esta hondo".

Están las mantas y los tacos de Yoga de Sari, mi rincón preferido para meditar, los instrumentos musicales, el recuerdo imperecedero de todas las rumbas y descargas adherido a las paredes. El olor, el humo, la añoranza y el eco de la risa de tantos amigos aún flotan en el aire. Están la compu, el equipo de sonido, el sofá que me acompaña desde que nací y que Sari (con su arte) hace pocos días convirtió en un banco de colores muy alegres, y los dos hermosos sillones que mi madre se encaprichó en traer desde Santiago de Cuba hace más de 30 años y que fue toda una "Odisea". Aquí es donde veíamos la TV, que por cierto...les cuento que hace mucho tiempo se rompió de repente y decidimos muy atinadamente no verla más!!!!!!!!!!

A esta hora ya están de fiesta las lagartijas, salamandras y todos los bichitos que se ocultan en la noche de la destreza de Omi, la gatica más cazadora del Vedado y sus barrios adyacentes. Que vigila alerta, casi sin respirar; como una estatua trepada encima de lo que encuentra para así poder sorprender a su presa y saciar su instinto natural de depredadora.

At this hour the lizards, salamanders and all the little critters that hide in the night from the skill of Omi, the most hunting cat of Vedado and its adjacent neighborhoods, are already celebrating. Es un día precioso; el sol entra descaradamente por un balcón que habiendo nacido en 1949 "ya se las sabe todas y las que no... se las imagina". Las plantas que lo adornan disfrutan el solecito en todo su esplendor. La albahaca y el orégano florecidos atraen a las abejas y Abejorros. Hasta un intrépido Zunzuncito que batiendo sus alas bendice el espacio regalándome la magia impostergable del amanecer.

A esta hora es que realizo mi meditación, prendo un incienso, me siento, busco una posición cómoda y cierro los ojos. Los ruidos de la calle se alejan, se van quedando fuera de mi respiración que se apropia a su vez de todo mi ser, conduciéndome hacia adentro, bien adentro, hacia donde casi nadie quiere mirar. Son 20 minutos de viaje interior, de lucha, de aprendizaje y crecimiento personal. Antes de abrir los ojos; agradezco al universo el estar vivo y poder respirar. En estos tiempos de crisis, infinita tristeza y deshabastecimiento total agradezco la ayuda puntual de familiares y amigos, ellos saben quienes son: Gracias, gracias, gracias!!! Después agradezco al Universo por todo lo demás, es importante agradecer antes de abrir los ojos porque "lo que viene" siempre es nuevo y nunca se sabe. Al regresar de cada meditación descubro que los colores son mas intensos y la sensación de felicidad mucho más plena.

Con esa energía me siento en las tumbadoras, respiro profundamente y acaricio el cuero por un rato, ese amor se va transformando en sonido, leve, casi imperceptible. Esto no es estudiar, es galopar, es viajar, colarte a hurtadillas en el mundo maravilloso de la creación.

Abro la boca y la voz me sale sin miedo, de las tripas, desgarrada, a veces son palabras, a veces una lengua que no entiendo, y otras en las que solo sale el sentimiento; amorfo y disparado como un chorro indetenible. Así suelen fundirse el texto y la música en este proceso único. Mi volumen va aumentando con la luz del sol, ya mis vecinos despertaron, sonrío, mi voz ahora retumba limpia y profunda por toda la casa- EMBELEMBELEEEEEEEE salta una lágrima. Le "bajo las libras" al Quinto (tambor) una vez mas con todas mis fuerzas- PA PÍ PATAPRÍ PATA PÍ PRÍ PATA PÍ como si fuera la última vez, cierro los ojos y observó como los golpes son dirigidos por la energía de la respiración. Y es precisamente en este mágico y sublime instante; donde Sari me grita;
-OYEEEEE PAPI... DALE SUAVE !!!!!!!
