Resulta que cuando yo planifico un día de compras o diligencias, siempre me dan ganas de hacer y deshacer todo en un mismo día y por tal motivo siempre acabo cansadísima 🤣, tal fue el caso del día de ayer el cual tenía tiempo planificado para ser el momento donde finalmente iría a hacer unas compras que llevaba tiempo teniendo pendientes, pero que además se convirtió en el ocasión de cantarle cumpleaños a la carrera de Psicología, pero para que entiendan todo esto mejor continuamos con el post y así les explico 🤣.
It turns out that when I plan a day of shopping or errands, I always feel like doing and undoing everything in the same day and for that reason I always end up very tired 🤣, such was the case of yesterday which had time planned to be the moment where I would finally go to do some shopping that had been pending, but it also became the occasion to sing birthday to the career of psychology, but to understand all this better continue with the post and so I explain 🤣.
La carrera de Psicología de la Ucla (donde yo estudio) finalmente fijó una fecha de aniversario, por lo que en conmemoración al cumpleaños número 16 del programa (lo sé, es una adolescente, tal vez por eso es medio rebelde 🤭🤭) el día de ayer se llevaron a cabo unas actividades en la sede del rectorado de la universidad, entre las activaciones estuvo pautada una misa y dos ponencias en el auditorio Ambrosio Oropeza. Es por ésta razón que mi día pautado para compras también se convirtió en la celebración de un cumpleaños masivo 🤣, la verdad no asistí a la misa por lo que me fui directamente hacía el auditorio para asistir a las ponencias, debo confesar que estar allí me hizo mucha ilusión pues yo nunca había tenido la oportunidad de entrar al auditorio, lugar que me parece oportuno mencionar es donde se llevan los actos de grado, así que como podrán imaginar para ésta pequeña estudiante del 7mo semestre, estar en ese sitio fue una forma de visualizarme a dentro de unos poquitos años 🥺🥺.
The Psychology degree at Ucla (where I study) finally set an anniversary date, so in commemoration of the 16th birthday of the programme (I know, she's a teenager, maybe that's why she's a bit rebellious 🤭🤭) yesterday some activities were held at the university's rectorate, among the activations were a mass and two presentations in the Ambrosio Oropeza auditorium. It is for this reason that my day scheduled for shopping also became the celebration of a massive birthday 🤣, the truth is that I did not attend the mass so I went directly to the auditorium to attend the lectures, I must confess that being there made me very excited because I had never had the opportunity to enter the auditorium, I must confess that being there made me very excited because I had never had the opportunity to enter the auditorium, a place that I think it is appropriate to mention is where the graduation ceremonies are held, so as you can imagine for this little 7th semester student, being in that place was a way to visualize myself in a few years 🥺🥺.
La primera ponencia fue acerca de la perspectiva actual de la salud mental y la segunda fue sobre el proyecto de ley de salud mental en el estado Lara, ambas ponencias la verdad es que estuvieron bastante interesantes, sin embargo a mitad de la segunda honestamente ya yo necesitaba un poco de descanso aparte que el calor no terminaba de ayudar, y ni hablemos de la ronda de preguntas porque muchas fueron algo innecesarias, aún así me parece que fue una actividad súper chévere, aparte nos reunió a todos como carrera y es que suele ser más usual vernos dispersos así que siempre es lindo estar todos de forma masiva y decir "Mira, aquí estamos los de psicología" 🤭🤭.
The first presentation was about the current perspective of mental health and the second was about the draft law on mental health in the state of Lara, both presentations were quite interesting, however in the middle of the second one I honestly needed a little rest apart from the heat that didn't help, And let's not even talk about the round of questions because many were a bit unnecessary, even so I think it was a super cool activity, besides it brought us all together as a career and it is usually more usual to see us scattered so it's always nice to be all massively and say "Look, here we are the psychology" 🤭🤭🤭.
Luego de allí me fuí caminando hacia un establecimiento llamado La Pollera, en la parte de la cafetería me estaba esperando mi hermana @hannymarchan y como lo del calor era en serio, decidí tomarme un batido de fresa con piña, estaba riquísimo la verdad pero no ñr sentí mucho el sabor de la piña 🤣. A partir de aquí fue donde oficialmente comenzó el día de compras y diligencias, por lo que al salir del establecimiento nos dirigimos a otro lugar donde realizan bordados, sublimación y demás cosas, pues necesitaba mandar a bordar mi camisa de uniforme de la universidad, allí la dejé y me la entregaran el viernes.
After there I went walking to an establishment called La Pollera, in the cafeteria my sister @hannymarchan was waiting for me and as the heat was serious, I decided to have a strawberry shake with pineapple, it was delicious but I didn't really feel the taste of pineapple 🤣. From here was where the day of shopping and errands officially began, so when we left the establishment we went to another place where they do embroidery, sublimation and other things, because I needed to have my university uniform shirt embroidered, I left it there and they will deliver it to me on Friday.
Caminando y caminando llegamos a Boulevard Center, supuestamente íbamos a ver el precio de unas cosas y fue inevitable salir de allí con una compra 🤣, en éste caso unos materiales que mi hermana necesitaba para hacer unos proyectos de bisutería que probablemente les comparta pronto. De allí fuimos a la siguiente parada de nuestra ruta de diligencias, el lugar donde siempre entro y salgo 10 horas después 🤣🤣, y me refiero al centro textil El Castillo, aquí busqué algunos precios de unas telas que necesito y además compre (al fin) la tela para realizar mi otro uniforme de la universidad, así que quizás en las próximas semanas vean el tutorial de pijama quirúrgica 🤭🤭, que como dato curioso me gustaría saber ¿qué pasa con el azul marino en Barquisimeto? 🤣🤣 siempre que me toca comprar telas para mis uniformes tengo que registrar casi que todo el establecimiento para encontrar éste color, ésta vez me tocó mandar a cortar de un rollo que aún estaba sellado 🤣🤣.
Walking and walking we arrived to Boulevard Center, supposedly we were going to see the price of some things and it was inevitable to leave there with a purchase 🤣, in this case some materials that my sister needed to make some costume jewellery projects that I will probably share with you soon. From there we went to the next stop on our route of errands, the place where I always enter and leave 10 hours later 🤣🤣, and I mean the textile centre El Castillo, here I looked for some prices of some fabrics I need and also bought (at last) the fabric to make my other university uniform, so maybe in the coming weeks you will see the tutorial of surgical pyjamas 🤭🤭, which as a curious fact I would like to know what happens with navy blue in Barquisimeto? I always have to search almost the whole establishment to find this colour, this time I had to cut from a roll that was still sealed 🤣🤣🤣.
Increíblemente logré salir pronto del Castillo, y nos dirigimos hacía Mundo Total pues llevaba tiempo viendo que habían traído maquillajes a ésta tiendas y por alguna razón estaba siendo viral, pero salí decepcionada porque al menos aquí en Barquisimeto solo llegaron tres cositas de maquillaje 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️, aún así la visita a ésta tienda sirvió para tomarnos fotos graciosas con algunos artículos 🤣🤣. Ya para éste punto del día (que eran las 3pm aproximadamente), teníamos hambre por lo que caminando por allí mismo encontramos un puesto de cachapas y allí mismo fue 🤣, para éste punto creo que ustedes deberían saber que yo nunca pierdo la oportunidad de comer cachapas, así que ésta no sería la excepción 😌, debo decir que estaban ricas sin embargo a la mezcla le falta azúcar 🤷🏻♀️ y yo soy algo quisquillosa con está comida en concreto, aún así la disfruté y me dejo satisfecha.
Incredibly I managed to leave the castle early, and we headed towards Mundo Total because I had been seeing for a while that they had brought makeup to this shop and for some reason it was going viral, but I was disappointed because at least here in Barquisimeto only three little makeup items arrived 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️, even so the visit to this shop served to take funny pictures with some items 🤣🤣. By this point of the day (it was about 3pm), we were hungry so walking around we found a cachapas stall and it was right there 🤣, by this point I think you should know that I never miss the opportunity to eat cachapas, so this would be no exception 😌, I must say that they were tasty but the mixture lacks sugar 🤷🏻♀️ and I'm a bit picky with this particular food, still I enjoyed it and it left me satisfied.

Finalmente llegamos al punto central y mas importante de toda ésta salida, el C.C Cosmos y ustedes se preguntaran la razón por la que éste era el punto más importante, y la respuesta a esto radica en la existencia de una tienda de productos Dolce Bella ubicada en el 4to piso del mismo, porque si, el foco principal de ésta salida era comprar maquillaje 🤣🤣. Esta tienda en particular realiza ventas al mayor y detal, por lo que a partir de la compra de 12 piezas surtidas los precios te salen al mayor, y eso para una obsesiva del maquillaje es básicamente la mejor noticia que puedes darle 🤣🤣. Tanto mi hermana como yo hicimos una lista de productos que necesitábamos y fuimos con la intención de hacer una sola compra y que de ésta forma nos saliera al mayor, y efectivamente esto fue lo que hicimos por lo que surtimos en gran medida nuestros kits de maquillaje 🤭🤭. Lastimosamente no llegue a comprar todo lo que estaba en mi lista porque algunas cosas de habían acabado, aunque realmente solo fue una cosita la que me faltó (un corrector de ojeras) porque lo otro que me faltó lo compre en otra tienda (un polvo suelto que lo terminé adquiriendo de la marca Salomé), pero salí demasiado satisfecha de allí, tanto por la emoción de la compra y por la excelente atención que recibimos.
Finally we got to the central and most important point of this whole outing, the Cosmos Shopping Centre and you may wonder why this was the most important point, and the answer to this lies in the existence of a Dolce Bella products shop located on the 4th floor of the same, because yes, the main focus of this outing was to buy makeup 🤣🤣. This particular shop does wholesale and retail sales, so from the purchase of 12 assorted pieces the prices are wholesale, and that for a makeup obsessive is basically the best news you can give her 🤣🤣. Both my sister and I made a list of products that we needed and went with the intention of making a single purchase and that way we would get the most, and indeed this is what we did so we largely stocked up on our makeup kits 🤭🤭. Unfortunately I didn't get to buy everything that was on my list because some things had run out, although it was really only one little thing that I missed (a concealer) because the other thing I missed I bought in another shop (a loose powder that I ended up buying from the brand Salomé), but I left there very satisfied, both for the excitement of the purchase and for the excellent attention we received.
