The best Christmases of 2010 | TBT [ESP-ENG Subtitled]

This is the month when happiness, joy, and above all, unique meals are present, which is why many of us eagerly await this month because it is Christmas. At home, since the end of November, my mom has been putting up Christmas decorations, and before we know it, the year is over. That's why every Christmas I've had the opportunity to enjoy with my family is a unique experience, because something always happens that will remain in my memory. I've always said that the family gets smaller with each celebration, but that's no reason to stop celebrating these dates, and that's why I'm sure I'll have a great time this year, and we're already making preparations.

Estamos en el mes donde la felicidad, la alegría y sobre todo poder comer comidas única está presente y por eso muchos esperamos con ansias este mes por ser la Navidad y en casa desde finales noviembre mi mamá está colocando lo que sería los adornos de Navidad y cuando nos damos cuenta se terminó el año. Por eso cada Navidad que he tenido la oportunidad de disfrutar en familia es una experiencia única, ya que siempre pasa algo que quedara para el recuerdo y lo que siempre he dicho que la familia se va reduciendo en cada celebración, sin embargo, eso no es motivo para dejar de festejar estas fechas y por eso estoy seguro de que este año la pasaré muy bien y ya estamos en los preparativos.

This time we're going back to Christmas 2010, which was very nice, because my maternal grandfather was there, and seeing him celebrating in those photos is something very beautiful that we will always remember. Also, that year we gathered at my other grandfather's house, since it is very large and the whole family could be there comfortably and at ease. The preparations began in the morning, and in my case, I remember that I always had to set up the tables and chairs and have everything ready for the evening. My grandmother was in charge of the food. In other words, each member of the family had a task to ensure we had a great Christmas, whether it was December 24 or 31, which are important dates, but I can tell you that we practically spent the whole week celebrating.

Esta vez nos vamos para la Navidad del año 2010, la cual fue muy bonita, ya que primero estaba la presencia de mi abuelo por parte de mamá y verlo en esas fotos como festejaba es algo muy bonito y siempre lo vamos a recordar. Además, para ese año nos reunimos en casa de mi otro abuelo, puesto que su casa es muy grande y allí podíamos estar toda la familia con tranquilidad, comodidad y desde horas de la mañana comenzaban los preparativos y en mi caso recuerdo que siempre me tocaba acomodar mesas y sillas y tener todo listo para la noche, mi abuela la comida, es decir cada miembro de la familia tenía una tarea para poder pasar una gran Navidad, ya sea para el 24 y 31 de diciembre, fechas importantes, pero les cuento que es prácticamente toda la semana festejando.

It was a great Christmas with uncles, cousins, grandparents, and parents at that gathering, a group of more than 20 people, each of whom did their bit to make it one of the best ever. Despite the number of years that have passed, each of the photos we have saved from that day are the best, and it feels like that Christmas was just yesterday. We also had a tradition of giving gifts, putting up lights, and many other things, so it's a Christmas we'll all remember. Starting that year, certain situations began to arise that gradually caused the group to shrink. So this Christmas, we have an uncle who is back home after many years, which is a source of happiness, and I hope you all enjoy this holiday season as well.

Una Navidad que fue genial tíos, primos, abuelos y padres en esa reunión, siendo un grupo de más de 20 personas que cada uno puso su granito de arena para lograr que fuera una de las mejores y a pesar de la cantidad de años que ha transcurrido cada una de las fotos que tenemos guardadas de ese día, son lo máximo y como si fuera ayer esa Navidad. Además, teníamos la tradición de dar regalos, lanzar luces y muchas otras cosas, por ende son Navidades que todos vamos a recordar, donde a partir de ese año comenzaron a presente ciertas situaciones que fue provocando que poco a poco el grupo fuera menos. Por ende esta Navidad, contamos la presencia de un tío, que luego de muchos años está de regreso en casa y por eso es una parte de felicidad y espero que ustedes también disfruten de estas fechas.
