Tagging. Digbeth. Birmingham

in StreetArt2 years ago

Not a huge fan of tagging to be honest, but well, when it is as good as this lot I make an exception to the rule!!

Birmingham is the only place I've been to in England where I thought I had been magically transported back to America into the hood (probably my ghetto ass hometown, Dayton, Ohio). I think the armpit of England may be somewhere in Birmingham!

there are gang wars and drug wars and lots of bad stuff in birmingham, cant disagree with you there, @nuthman

just glad I live far away in the rural hills of Wales

Also sorry if I was a bit insulting. Reading that back seemed a bit rude!

I actually had a good time in Birmingham. It was just quite literally the only place in England where I felt in actual danger at several points. A dude came up to us with a knife in one hand and a syringe needle hanging out of his arm as if he had forgotten about it. He started mumbling a question, but we had no clue what he was saying. Sadly this made me nostalgic of home. Haha!

lol @nuthman , not insulting mate, I am not from there so I agree with your sentiments entirely. There are some upmarket districts, but a hell of a lot of areas ya just don't want to visit unless you are looking for drugs of various kinds. Even the maindrag in the city centre is not a place I would want to go on a Saturday Night.

I much prefer living in the rolling hills of Wales

I am a big fan of Wales. We have gone to Cardiff a couple of times and I loved it! We went to see the Doctor Who Experience that is no longer there and the areas where Torchwood was filmed. (We are nerds)

We also go to Ludlow in Shropshire all the time which is not to too far from Wales. I really love it out there! My favorite part of the country.

Cheers @nuthman wales has some special places, Ludlow is nice too, great for foodies

Great free advertising if you able to do graffiti 'great hoakser dot com' original.

Awesome some of them should be in a gallery, fame without name is normally more fun.

!BEER

Look forward to the next stroll out under the bridges.
