I welcome you all to a new week. It is a privilege to participate in the Indoctrination series once again. Brother Eli speaks on the inward and the outward man.
2 Corinthians 4:16 - For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
We see the clear difference between the outward man and the inward man. The outward man perishes but the inward man does not. We don't see the inward man unlike the outward man. In verse 18 of that chapter it says that the things we can't see are eternal.
We should not be too concerned about the things we can see physically. As humans, it is very possible to be moved by the things we see. Most times, they can be deceiving. Brother Eli highlights how many people care so much about their bodies and how they appear. People often apply a lot on their skins and don't joke with things they put on.
It's not a bad thing. But instead of investing more on the things of the flesh–which over time will fade off–it is much better to invest in our spirits; the inward man. Investment in the inward man is much profitable than investing in the outward man.
The benefits of investment in the outward man ends here on earth. It's of no use to us in eternity.
Yes dear we should be concerned about our inner man and not what we see physical
The physical things are temporary while the ones we don’t see are eternal
We should choose well
The doctrines teaches us to do good to all men
