Like my mother in-law taught me. Warm greetings to everyone here today I bring a new recipe. Is all about cassava here in Nigeria we value cassava a lot because we use cassava for lots of things like garri and other things and today I will be talking about cassava flakes.
This cassava flakes is gotten from cassava and we make it dry in form of preserving them so that you can use them any time you want.
INGREDIENTS USED
1/2 paint of dry cassava flakes
Hand full of baby garden egg
1/4 of red oil
4 piece of fresh pepper
Salt to taste
Water
1 medium Onion
5 stems of Garden egg leaf
5 piece of UTIZA leaf.
Another name for UTAZI is bush buck.
PROCEDURE
This process is very easy and simple
First put your cassava flakes in a clean bowl and put hot water to it allow for 10 minutes.
After use your filter and filter them and set aside.
Wash your onions, your pepper, and the garden egg leaf and slice them.
Put your pot back on fire and allow the pot to dry water once is dry you put red oil.
Once your red oil is hot you put your salt first and add your cassava flakes and stir them very well.
After putting them you add your pepper and stir and also add your onions you will not add all the onions because you will still need them for garnishing.
After pepper you add your slice garden egg leaf.
After adding them your stir very well .
Here your cassava flakes is ready.
You now garnish your cassava flakes with your remaining onions and your baby garden egg and also your UTAZI leaf.
Looking at this dish you will see that is very tempting and the taste is topnotch If you have not given this meal a try my dear you are missing a lot please friends do well to give it a try.
