Garlic chutney recipe|| lehsun ki chutney

Hello foodies !

Welcome to my blog again. I am so glad that you are here. Today i am here with one of my favourite chutney recipe : garlic chutney. If consumed in the right quantity then it is also quite healthy, it improves digestion and control the cholestrol level. We can also store it for 10-15 days and it is best option for traveling.

Garlic chutney also known as lahsun chutney is a famous chutney recipe from Rajasthan (india). This is spicy and flavourable recipe which is best to enjoy with chapati, rice or bajara roti. This is easy to make and can ready in less time with minimum ingredients.

To make this chutney we need fresh garlic pods, spices and oil. We can adjust the spice level . We can use less red chilli powder to make it less spicy. Here i adjust the spice level at medium. We can also use dried red chilli instead of red chilli powder. And can add tomato puree to reduce the spice level. Here i made it simply , which i am going to share.

Add in a mixer jar or blender.

Now add little water and grind it till it become smooth.

Step 2 :

Now in a pan heat the oil and add cumin seeds. When cumin seeds start to crackle add that garlic smooth paste.

Cook it for 8-10 minutes on the low flame till the rawness of the garlic has gone.

The chutney is Ready to enjoy . Isn't it easy to prepare? This taste so good with chapati or rice. While travelling we always carry this chutney, it tastes so well.

In my childhood my mom always made roll with this chutney like this. I still love to enjoy like this.

Have you ever tried it ? If not, give it a try, you will definitely like it 😊.

Do you just eat it like that or eat it with something different? Maybe rice or something? That's a combination of a lot of spice.

We can eat it with rice...but mostly we eat it with chapati or bajara roti ...
We can also enjoy it as a side dish...i love to make rolls with chapati & chutney

Based on your description, it makes my mouth so watery! That's delicious for sure!🤗💚🫰

Your Garlic Chutney looks sooo good, it must be great with all kinds of dishes @mysteriousroad! I must see if I can find mango powder, I've never seen it here, but I'm sure it must make all the difference in the flavour. We do have fresh mangoes, I wonder if one could add that?

You can skip the mango powder...it will be tasty without it 😀
No no...we can't add fresh mango...we need raw mango, then crush them , dry them and then ready to use 😀😀

That's interesting, would make a good foodie post😉

Yuppp 😄😄
