Fun Dive in Oslob, Cebu

Hello everyone!

This is the last of my freediving videos that are taken during our dive in Moalboal and Oslob. As always, with me are @indayclara as my constant freediving companion and @sabanalchristian as our go-to underwater photographer and videographer. I won't probably be uploading freediving videos for a while except the ones taken in Catmon, which I haven't uploaded yet. We decided to rest for a few months to prepare for our official training and certification. At least we will become worthy admins of the Freediving Community.

This video is a compilation of our first dive in Oslob. As I mentioned in my previous videos, we were supposed to stay in Oslob for one day and that's just to dive with the whale sharks, but we didn't know they're not allowing any contact with those creatures during Wednesdays. We decided to extend our stay and spent that day freediving near Stay N Save B&B. It was just a fun dive with a lot of quirky stunts. I just followed whatever stunt @indayclara can think of.

Since I'm done with the freediving videos, I don't know what to post next. I still have a lot of travels to be shared, but I'm not in the mood to share them yet. Maybe I'll change my mind in the coming days. Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy the video.

Please don't forget to drop by in the comments and tell me what you think about this video. I would love to read your comments! As always, thank you very much for the support!

Your diving footage is always some of my favorite video to watch. The calmness versus the unpredictability of what’s in the water is so alluring. Keep doing what you love!

Thank you so much! This already made my day even if I just woke up. I'll have more freediving videos soon, but I'll share some of my travels in the meantime.

Again, thank you and have a great day!

This is mind soothing. I wish I can do this. :) Really lovely.

Thank you! I bet you can if you put your heart to it. Unless it's difficult to access the sea in your area.

Yea. It is hard to access the sea here. And the ones available looks risky.

Oh! That's sad. Hopefully you can visit the tropics soon. Anywhere in the world where it's okay to dive.

Looks so fun although a bit scary! Haha. The corals and fishes are so beautiful

According to Will Smith's grandmother, "All the great things in life are on the opposite side of fear." Ganon. It's so much fun and liberating underwater. Maybe because we can move in all directions. Try mo ghorl!

Yes! I'm surprised Oslob also has some awesome corals and fishes. Not as grand as in Moalboal, but it's still beautiful.

Dibaaa? It's like flying hahah. Maybe I should learn how to swim first then I can try that :P What about the current there? That's also one of my concerns, you were quite deep!

There was no strong current that time so we were able to freely dive. Depth is around 10 meters. That's my comfortable depth at the moment.

Learn to swim na! Laban lang.

#Naol pwede makapag gala. Kakainggit that you can do those stuff. Kami still playing kung ano ang difference ng mga level ng quarantine 😀

Same here! Binago lang nila mga pangalan ng classification. Pero at least pwede na kami gumala. Mas gusto ko nga gumala ngayon kasi wala masyadong tao. Magka anxiety ako pag maraming tao.

Coming up from a landlocked country and never tried swimming, this looks just like a dream
You guys are Pro. Loved it..

Thank you! We're still not a pro though. We're still to have our training and certification.

When I go into the sea, there is always a fear, is there a fish coming from behind? will it hurt me

It's mostly in your head. I also have that kind of fear before, but I overcome it as I continue freediving.

My Octopus Teacher is one of my favorite documentaries. This video reminds me of that docu by Craig Foster. !LUV

I saw that documentary on Netflix! One of the few documentaries that made me love the ocean.

Medyo sad lang nung namatay si octopus pero it really shows the diversity of ocean life and the cycle and hierarchies within. Ang galing ng pagkakagawa.

Yeah! Interesting plus production quality. 👌

You are making this look so easy now it's making me jealous :)

You should try freediving there in Thailand! There are a lot of awesome spots there, I bet.

True you are right @ybanezkim26 just got to make that time to get there.

Amazing music to go with one of the most relaxing videos I have seen lately.
Thank you for sharing this, I have been afraid of the sea and the depths, so it is liberating (the least) to see such footage!
Regarding you not sharing travels, its ok if you dont feel like it ... we ll be waiting but - think of maybe posting as per another community if you feel like it. There are so many options here and we are lucky to have such a variety of groups where we can socialize.
All the best, I will looking forward for your new post!

Yay! Thank you so much! I'm so happy I'm able to impart the emotions I feel when I'm freediving. I've always said in my previous videos that freediving is so relaxing for me and it's awesome that you feel the same by just watching that video. I'm also afraid of the sea before considering I drowned 3 times before I learned to swim. To be able to freedive now is so liberating for me.

I think I'll share some photos of the sunset in an island here in the Philippines. I'm so excited to share, but procrastination always gets the better of me. 😁
