Today I worked with a friend to swap some USDC into BUSD using the LeoBridge so he could get going on CubDefi and earn that cub from pooling!
The video quality isn't great but, we go from start to finish and even take a glance at Etherscan and BSCscan to see that the transaction (tx) kicked off and when it hits the binance side.
After all the network issues last week with ETH and BNB it was nice to see the bridge do what it is desired to do. Took about 3 minutes for the whole tx to complete, it was awesome.
Also, pay mind to liquidity. We did a larger tx and there was some descent slippage, we'd been better to split it into two at the time. The lower prices of all coins at the time of this writing reduced the liquidity.
Hopefully it helps a newbie or two....

Nice job on this! It is always good to have tutorials like this out there for the new people who are coming onto the platform. Keeping this info top of mind and relevant could help to bring in a lot more people.

That's fantastic! Upvoted and rehived
Thank you, this very useful.
It is great that you are actually bring new people to the community, but more important you are walking through the process of bank to cubfinance.
I think this is one of the most important areas onboarding that is ignored by people who are to far into this crypto envirnment to understand how difficult it is for normies to navigate crypto's complexities.
Case in point:
The Leofinance community on Hive has over 8000 members, making Leofinance one of the largest communities in Hive.
However if you look at the daily usage numbers for Cubfinance on the site Dappradar, it is in the 220-249 range.
This is approximately 2.5% of the Community.
While the reasons are unknown, I personally feel that DeFi is to complicated for even the average Hive user. I suspect that this is also true for the average Leofinance user because despite impressive community engagement I have sold more Lottery tickets to the No Loss Lottery which invests in the Bleo-BNB Farm, then the average dailu user numbers on Cubfinance.
The people are there, but the stuff is to complicated. this suggests that to grow the usage of Cubfinance we will need to recruit more users from inside Hive or outside Hive.
Your efforts are clearly successful on a one person scale, as you have repeatedly brought investors into the Community. However the complexity is at a fairly high level, and I am sure that although the process is becomeing easier for you through repetition I hope you can see how it isn't easy for the people you bring into it.
Suggestion:
Dharma on Ethereum has developed a wallet, similar to Metamask which connects directly to your bank account, allowing you to purchase Ethereum from your bank account and store it in your Dharma wallet. From there it is a simple process to navigate to Ethereum DeFi project websites, connect the wallet and participate in those projects. I suggest you try this when you onboard people in the future.
Good Luck!

thanks,
I am onboarding and started using dharma, dollars in bank to eth, send eth to metamask, connect to uniswap, use eth to buy wleo and then connect metamask to cubfinance, leobridge, then send WLEO to BLEO.
But I discovered you can buy eth in metamask with a credit card, which eliminates the dharma app set up, and bank account connect, and you buy eth which shows up in your wallet. this allows the uniswap connect, buy wleo and then leobridge send to BLEO.
I am working on this also, please review and tell me if you see any issues.
Thanks
