Staying On Track For The $1 Million Challenge

source

I am someone who believes in making the impossible possible through the actions you do no matter how crazy an idea it sounds we make it happen. The idea of being able to generate a crypto portfolio value exceeding $1 million within 2 crypto cycles was something I decided to take on when I saw the last ATH's back in November 2021. Everyone should need a challenge to take on and it turns the serious business of crypto accumulation into a high stakes game. I have always been someone driven by figures and enjoy playing with numbers so this comes naturally to me.

When I saw my portfolio values appear almost overnight I was blown away and even tough those numbers were soon eroded away by the Bear market within a week or two the idea was born to try and do the impossible. Building a portfolio from scratch that would exceed a $1 million value within two cycles is not something I would ever of contemplated and why it is actually a fun project to try and achieve.

Having worked so hard on my Hive account which has now been 2404 days or 6 months and 7 months of consistency and dedication and has been one of the hardest thigs I have ever started. Hive 6 years ago was not easy and every Hive was difficult to earn especially starting with a 0 balance. If you thought earning on Hive was hard now then you should have tried it back then as it was a totally different animal and we never had communities. The starting out took years of 10-12 ours online daily whilst working a normal job and at times I questioned my sanity, but I remained focused which changed me as a person as I saw it through.

Starting a new challenge just seemed right mainly down to the growth mindset that Hive taught me and this is what I have managed to keep going since day one. 8 years to unlock a value of $1 million form $0 seems impossible, but I am going to try and prove it can be done through hard work, compounding and consistency.

The $250K value that my crypto portfolio showed a glimpse of back in November 2021 is heavily reliant on the market and wo knows if Hive will hit the $3.41 again. The hope with a wing and a prayer is Hive does and achieves a new ATH some time late next year. The difference however this time around is I have an external portfolio so the pressure is not on Hive and is not a crypto I would consider selling, but more about swapping in and out of HBD when the time is right. This is something I never did o the first time around and have no regrets as this is a learning curve like no other.

When you have worked so hard creating your Hive account it becomes personal and I cannot stick a price valuation on what it represents to myself which is bad news for my wallet, but good news for the community I guess. My HP has doubled over the last 2 years so in theory that $250K the last time around which was roughly represented by $200K Hive will hopefully have at least more than doubled in value next year.

All tis means is if I am going to become wealthy on crypto it has to be created outside the Hive eco system and why I researched projects and have been accumulating for the last 3 years. The hope I suppose is that the external crypto portfolio does extremely well and possibly on that alone achieve a $1 million valuation within the next 12 months. With crypto anything is possible and as we know a Bull Cycle can blow you away literally.

It's interesting, isn't it, when you start thinking like that? Why not? 😍

It is very simple and very doable.

Always good to have a plan and a dream and then putting in the hard work to get there.

Will Hive ever see $3 valuation again?

Will it even see $1?

It's hard to know. I'm not impressed with some of the decisions made on Hive in recent times to he honest and it seems money has been squandered with little to show for it in terms of active user base and most importantly Hive value. Whenever most crypto is going up, it seems Hive stays stagnant. Then when the wider crypto market goes down, Hive too goes down. So we get the losses, but very few of the gains unfortunately.
