Jeepers Creepers Reborn Review /Smakosz odrodzenie 4 recenzja

You know that feeling when you're watching a movie and suddenly at the 55th minute you wonder what it's about?

Well, I had that while watching the latest installment of the well-received Jeepers Creepers series, which had its good two parts, and now it was the turn of the 4th, which was supposed to give freshness and push away the distaste after the 3rd part.
Unfortunately, nothing of the director's predictions came true, and in fact, it even more severely killed the whole series.
The film has a smaller budget than the first 2 parts although to further 3 million dollars, unfortunately during the screening we will not experience at least one well-executed scene.
The script, well the film wanted on the one hand to be a new part, on the other hand it also wanted to play a lot on the senstiment, unfortunately, every aspect of the script is a veritable chaos, scenes happen only to appear next without the slightest sense. The plot pushes the viewer forward without even trying to arouse interest.
Unfortunately, the new part of the series suffers from a disease called script and logical errors, and there are a lot of them. It looks as if no one read the script and the whole thing was an improvisation.
Already at the very beginning when we meet the elderly couple we get the first annoying mistake when instead of going for help they decide to check what the monster has hidden :D

Later it's no better, when 2 young people are going to have fun and in the other car their friend rides and they are supposed to meet on the spot, but a friend of the young couple dies and is suddenly erased from the plot and no one mentions him until the end.
There are many such plot holes, not to mention the fact that each of the characters has an intelligence somewhere on the level of a suricat, because every now and then they have irrational ideas like climbing up the stairs knowing that there is a monster upstairs, or a working phone in a room where there is no reception.

The acting is semi-amateurish, and I probably wouldn't have minded if at least the storyline was of consequence in what it wants to show, however, this is not the case.
The film focuses on a young girl who goes with her boyfriend for a spooky weekend ( ?) to a town where there is a legend of Jeepers Creepers, which her boyfriend is fascinated by. Their friend, who is driving a separate car, is also supposed to show up.
While there, the girl realizes that she is pregnant, the boyfriend wants to propose to her. The boy to make the weekend cool wins a prize of a night in the spooky house of Mr. Gourmet.
The monster kidnaps the girl because the sect promised him the baby so he wants to cut it out for himself and the girl and several others have to fight a battle with the immortal entity.

For 82 minutes watching this I was not able to understand what is the main axis of the plot, whether the mysterious pregnancy or maybe the dilemmas of the boy or maybe the scarred monster who does not know why he is in the film.
The closer we get to the end, the film doesn't even try to be serious anymore, in fact, because the viewer is more intoxicated by stunts like throwing a weathervane from the roof ( a word made up because this film has dissolved my brain)and killing the monster and then reactivating it like in the matrix.
I didn't mention that almost the whole movie is on bluescreen and it even stings your eyes with shoddy special effects as well as backgrounds and environments. The monster's cave where the heroine walking backwards snagged on a bluescreen imitating stone looked miserable. There are plenty of such scenes.
If you expect that the new director wanted to change something then unfortunately he killed for the next 23 years this series.
The film contributes nothing, and even beats you in the eyes with idiocies that are so stupid that they can be played on family television. I would add that there were more interesting plots in the Scooby Doo episodes, where the finale was always surprising, but here we have to do with the product, which under the guise of a well-known brand is packed the worst features of the film.

Znacie to uczucie, kiedy oglądacie sobie film i nagle w 55 minucie zastanawiacie się o co w nim chodzi?

No wiec miałem tak w czasie oglądania najnowszej części dobrze przyjętej serii Smakosz, która miała swoje dobre dwie części, a teraz kolej już na 4, która miała nadać świeżości oraz odepchnąć niesmak po 3 części.
Niestety z zapowiedzi reżysera nic nie spełniło się, a wręcz jeszcze mocniej dobiło cała serie.
Film ma mniejszy budżet niż 2 pierwsze części choć do dalej 3 miliony dolarów, niestety w czasie seansu nie uświadczymy choć jednej dobrze wykonanej sceny.
Scenariusz, No cóż film chciał być z jednej strony nowa częścią, z drugiej chciał tez dużo zagrać na senstymencie, niestety każdy aspekt scenariusza to istny chaos, sceny dzieją się tylko po to by ukazały się kolejne bez żadnego najmniejszego sensu. Fabuła pcha widza do przodu, nie starając się nawet wzbudzić zainteresowania.
Niestety nowa cześć serii cierpi na chorobę zwana błędy scenariusza i logiczne i jest ich bardzo dużo. Wyglada to tak jakby nikt nie czytał scenariusza i całość była improwizacja.
Już na samym początku kiedy poznajemy starsze małżeństwo otrzymujemy pierwszy irytujący błąd kiedy zamiast jechać po pomoc postanawia sprawdzić co ukrył potwór :D

Później nie jest lepiej, kiedy 2 młodych ludzi jada się bawić i w drugim aucie jedzie ich kolega i maja się spotkać na miejscu, jednak ginie przyjaciel młodej pary i nagle zostaje wymazany z fabuły i nikt o nim nir wspomina do końca.
Takich dziur w fabule jest wiele nie wspominając już o tym, ze każdy z bohaterow ma inteligencje gdzieś na poziomie surykatki, gdyż co chwile maja irracjonalne pomysły jak wchodzenie na gore po schodach wiedząc, ze na gorze jest potwór, lub działający telefon w pomieszczeniu gdzie nie ma zasięgu.

Gra aktorska jest pół amatorska i pewnie nie przeszkadzało by mi to gdyby chociaż ta fabuła była konsekwencje w tym co chce ukazać jednak tak nie jest.
Film skupia się na młodej dziewczynie, która jedzie wraz z chłopakiem na straszny weekend ( ?) do miasteczka gdzie jest legenda Smakosza, która jest zafascynowany jej chłopak. Ma tez pojawić się również ich kolega, który jedzie osobnym autem.
Będąc na miejscu dziewczyna uświadamia sobie, ze jest w ciąży, zad chłopak chce jej się oświadczyć. Chłopak by weekend był fajny wygrywa nagrodę w postaci noc w upiornym domu pana Smakosza.
Potwór porywa dziewczynę gdyż sekta obiecała mu to dziecko wiec chce sobie je wyciąć i dziewczyna i kilka innych osób musza stoczyć walkę z nieśmiertelnym bytem.

Przez 82 minuty oglądając to nie byłem wstanie zrozumieć co jest główna osia fabuły, czy tajemnicza ciąża, czy może rozterki chłopaka czy może spróchniały potwór, który nie wie czemu jest w tym filmie.
Im bliżej końca tym film już nawet nie stara się być poważny, a wręcz bo bardziej widza nacpanymi akcjami jak rzut wiatrowskazem z dachu ( wyraz wymyślony bo ten film mi mózg rozpuścił)i zabicie potwora a następnie jego reaktywacja jak w matrixie.
Nie wspomniałem, ze prawie cały film jest na bluescreenie i wręcz kłuje po oczach tandetne efekty specjalne jak i tła i otoczenia. Mizernie wyglądała jaskinia potwora gdzie bohaterka idąc do tylu zahaczyła o bluescreen imitujący kamień. Takich scen jest ogrom.
Jeśli spodziewacie się, ze nowy reżyser chciał coś zmienić to niestety zabił na najbliższe 23 lata ta serie.
Film nie wnosi nic, a wręcz bije w oczy idiotyzmami, które są tak durne, ze można je puszczać w w telewizji familijnej. Dodam ze ciekawsze fabuły miewały odcinki Scooby Doo , gdzie finał zawsze zaskakiwał, tu mamy do czynie z produktem, który pod płaszczem znanej marki upycha najgorsze cechy filmowe.
