Cuando se anucio esta película, al menos esperaba que fuese tal cual como su titulo “Multiverso de la Locura”, pero realmente no fue tan asi y películas como “Everything Everywhere All At Ance” y “Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers”, realmente presentaron multiversos y crossovers aun mas interesantes y variados. Poco tiene de “multiverso” esta película, mas alla de mostrarnos pocas versiones de otros Doctor Strange, pero sin profundizar mucho en ellos. Ademas, a lo largo de lo que dura esta película tan solo vimos un poco sobre 1 solo multiverso (El universo de los Illuminati) y tampoco es que mostraron mucho mas de las muertes absurdas de los que se supone que eran los superhéroes mas poderosos de ese universo, sin mencionar al supuesto “Hombre mas inteligente del mundo”, que de “inteligente” tiene poco, aunque si me agrado que hayan elegido a ese actor (John Krasinski) para interpretar a “Reed Richards”.
Creo que debido a que estoy un poco cansado de muchas cosas referentes a Marvel es que no me gusto tanto esta película, pero realmente si esperaba algo mas interesante, que al menos exploraran mas multiversos, aunque sea un poco y no solo esa escena donde Doctor Strange y America Chavez viajan por varios universos, pero el tiempo que duran en esos universos es tan poco que hay que darle pausa a la pelicula para poder visualizarlos un poco mejor y aun asi no se logra apreciar del todo que son realmente, porque es bastante fugaz ese momento de la película.
El personaje de America Chavez me gusó, tiene un origen bastante trágico y a pesar de eso es un personaje bastante alegre, aunque es el tipo personaje de “origen hispano” que al momento de hablar en español se nota ese acento que realmente no es originario de algun país de Sudamerica, pero a pesar de es un personaje que me gusto. Sin embargo, algo que no me gusto sobre el desarrollo de America Chavez es al momento cuando "aprende" a controlar sus poderes y es que Doctor Strange ante la incapacidad de America de no poder controlar sus poderes hasta casi el final de la película, con tan solo las palabras “tu puedes, yo confio en ti, usa el poder de la amistad”, es algo tan cliché que es bastante malo, además de que hacerle frente a Wanda, y recordemos que Wanda acababa de eliminar a los supuestos heroes más fuerte del otro universo.
Y ya que hablamos de esos héroes, realmente es la mayor decepción del mundo, sé que solo los pusieron en escena para demostrar la superioridad de Wanda ante ellos, pero que decepción fueron estos personajes. Empezare por la version de Capitana Marvel de este universo. Si la ya Capitana Marvel “original” era un poco despreciable desde su primera película, esta version es mucho más despreciable y pensé que eso era algo imposible. Un personaje descartable, aburrido, soberbio y que al final tan solo fue un desperdicio. El otro peor personaje es Reed Richards, y es que ¿Cómo se le ocurre decirle de primeras a Wanda cómo funciona la habilidad de Black Bolt?, es que es algo totalmente ridículo que la persona más inteligente del mundo haya revelado la habilidad de su compañero así de la nada. Y otra cosa ¿Cómo es que mientras desmembraban de la forma más sádica y dolorosa posible a Reed Richards, tanto la version de Capitan America (interpretado por la actriz de la Agente Carter, la cual realmente me gusto este personaje pese a no aportar casi nada) llamada en este universo "Capitana Carter" y la version de Capitana Marvel de este universo, no hicieron nada para ayudarlo más que ver como moría uno de sus compañeros?
Además ¿Por qué Wanda tardo tanto en eliminarlas, si a los otros personajes prácticamente los elimino de inmediato?, la que menos le podría hacer frente era la version femenina del Capitan America, y aun asi lucho un rato contra Wanda, es un poco ilógico.
Pero no todo es malo realmente, la pelea entre los dos Doctor Strange con las notas musicales fue realmente buena, fue rara porque estos dos personajes pudieron luchar con otros tipos de hechizos, pero fue algo original, además de que cada melodía representaba a cada Doctor Strange en ese momento.
Los momentos de “terror” también estuvieron bien, especialmente la forma en cómo murió el Profesor Xavier, un poco decepcionante, pero fue una buena forma de morir, que es un personaje que ha muerto varias veces desde las películas de X-Men hasta la actualidad.
En fin, realmente no es una mala película, pero si tiene muchas cosas que le restan muchos puntos, especialmente por no ofrecer nada de lo que dice su título “Multiverso de la Locura”, poco tiene de eso y nada más fue algo para llamar la atención de los espectadores.
When this movie was announced, at least I expected it to be just like its title "Multiverse of Madness", but it wasn't really like that and movies like "Everything Everywhere All At Once" and "Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers", actually presented even more interesting and varied multiverses and crossovers. There is little "multiverse" in this movie, other than showing us a few versions of other Doctor Strange's, but without going too deep into them. Besides, throughout the duration of this movie we only saw a little bit about 1 single multiverse (The Illuminati universe) and they didn't show much more of the absurd deaths of those who were supposed to be the most powerful superheroes of that universe, not to mention the supposed "Smartest Man in the World", which is not very "smart", although I did like the fact that they chose that actor (John Krasinski) to play "Reed Richards".
I think because I'm a little tired of many things related to Marvel is that I did not like this movie, but I really expected something more interesting, at least explore more multiverses, even a little and not just that scene where Doctor Strange and America Chavez travel through several universes, but the time they last in those universes is so little that you have to pause the movie to visualize them a little better and even then you can not fully appreciate what they really are, because it is quite fleeting that moment of the film.
I liked the character of America Chavez, he has a very tragic origin and despite that he is a pretty cheerful character, although he is the type of character of "Hispanic origin" that when speaking in Spanish you can notice that accent that he is not really originally from any country in South America, but despite that he is a character that I liked. However, something that I did not like about the development of America Chavez is when he "learns" to control his powers and Doctor Strange before America's inability to control his powers until almost the end of the film, with only the words "you can, I trust you, use the power of friendship", is something so cliché that is pretty bad, plus to face Wanda, and remember that Wanda had just eliminated the supposedly strongest heroes of the other universe.
And while we're on the subject of these heroes, it really is the biggest disappointment in the world, I know they were only put on stage to show Wanda's superiority to them, but what a disappointment these characters were. I'll start with the Captain Marvel version of this universe. If the already "original" Captain Marvel was a bit despicable from her first movie, this version is much more despicable and I thought that was an impossibility. A disposable, boring, superb character that in the end was just a waste. The other worst character is Reed Richards, and how can he tell Wanda how Black Bolt's ability works, it's totally ridiculous that the smartest person in the world has revealed his partner's ability out of nowhere. And another thing is that while Reed Richards was dismembered in the most sadistic and painful way possible, both the version of Captain America (played by the actress of Agent Carter, which I really liked this character despite contributing almost nothing) called in this universe "Captain Carter" and the version of Captain Marvel of this universe, did nothing to help him but to see how one of his companions died?
Besides, why Wanda took so long to eliminate them, if the other characters were practically eliminated immediately, the one who could face her the least was the female version of Captain America, and even so she fought for a while against Wanda, it's a little illogical.
But not everything is bad really, the fight between the two Doctor Strange with the musical notes was really good, it was weird because these two characters could fight with other types of spells, but it was something original, plus each melody represented each Doctor Strange at that moment.
The "horror" moments were also good, especially the (disappointing") way in which Professor Xavier died, which is a character that has died several times from the X-Men movies to the present day.
Anyway, it's not really a bad movie, but it does have many things that detract a lot of points, especially for not offering anything of what its title "Multiverse of Madness" says, it has little of that and nothing more was something to draw the attention of viewers.

Sure, it's entertaining enough in itself, but the "multiverse" thing has very little and there are some scenes that I didn't like. I'm not one to give ratings, but if so this movie would be a 6.5/10. I still recommend you to watch it, because if you want to be aware of Marvel's phase 4, this movie is important for the future.

Lo único que me gusto fue todas las partes que asemejaban un film de horror. Stranger zombie y esa Wanda matando a todos. El director comenzó con películas de horror, así que me gusto todas esas escenas. Ahora, quede esperando mas de multiverso, me supo a poco y no vi tanta locura. Ah, escena que odie fue cuando Stranger solo con unas palabras que e dice a la chica Chávez, ya la muchacha domina sus poderes, eso fue demasiado tonto. Pero la peli me pareció entretenida, si puedo decir que me gusto jajaja
Si, no digo que sea mala, pero tiene algunas cosas que me dejaron como "meh" y si esa escena de Strange diciendole a America Chavez que ella podia, que todo estaba dentro de ella y no se que mas, fue bastante mala jajaj
Muy acertado tu tema; creo que faltó por explorar. Eso lo supuse cuando dieron la duración de la película.
Es que con el subtitulo "Multiverso de la Locura" generaron una espectativa demasiado grande y al final no fue asi, igualmente por lo que se sabe, esta fase estara enfocada en eso, Multiversos.
I have not seen this movie, but I can already tell that they are going to do well with the multiverse thing.
From my experience with Marvel and their stories, they never seem to explore multi-dimensional possibilities. They only manage to come up with settings that resemble them.
They are quite known to have their movies overhyped and then underwhelmed. Notwithstanding, I am always down for entertainment, so I will check it out.
It's entertaining, but yes, Marvel always sets their expectations too high for people, promising a huge expansion, both in interviews and in trailers and in the end everything remains quite normal.
