El legado del Diablo | Review [ESP-ENG]

Los amantes del cine por lo general se inclinan en seleccionar historias que sean de su estilo o interés; con esto no estoy diciendo nada nuevo, pero con el pasar del tiempo los gustos cambian por alguna razón. En mi caso actual me inclino por varias, pero el drama es mi preferencia, se aprecia en la mayoría de las cintas los sucesos fuertes que te llevan a reflexionar. De joven hubo un tiempo que los films de terror eran prioridad, como consecuencia consecuencias no podía dormir; después, más adulta, disfruto de las películas de suspenso, ficción, terror y que contenga ideas sobrenaturales, gracias a la madurez; aprecio el arte de la proyección sin que repercuta en mi realidad, es decir, vivir las sensaciones sin que permanezcan en el pensamiento. Dicho esto, anunció que la proyección El legado del Diablo es una película de terror que posee una combinación de elementos que me gusta y fue una recomendación, porque estaba en la búsqueda de algo que realmente me impactará. Hay que mencionar que la portada dice mucho, primero los personajes serán los principales del desenlace; el color oscuro infunde temor a lo desconocido; la típica casa donde ocurren eventos paranormales o actos de terror, todas son características de un film que promete susto.

Movie lovers are generally inclined to select stories that are of their style or interest; with this I am not saying anything new, but with the passing of time tastes change for some reason. In my current case I lean towards several, but drama is my preference, you can appreciate in most of the films the strong events that lead you to reflect. When I was young there was a time when horror films were a priority, as a consequence I could not sleep; later, as an adult, I enjoy suspense, fiction, horror films and films that contain supernatural ideas, thanks to maturity; I appreciate the art of projection without repercussions in my reality, that is, to live the sensations without them remaining in my thoughts. That said, he announced that Hereditary is a horror film that has a combination of elements that I like and was a recommendation, because I was in search of something that would really impact me. It should be mentioned that the cover says a lot, first the characters will be the main characters of the denouement; the dark color instills fear of the unknown; the typical house where paranormal events or acts of terror occur, all are characteristics of a film that promises to scare.

El legado del Diablo es un film del Ari Aster, por esta razón me la recomendaron porque la película Midsommar que también dirigió, fue una historia encarnizada que logró atraparme y reflexionar sobre que en esta vida hay comportamientos disidentes en total desequilibrio. El legado del diablo se estrenó en 2018, cuenta la historia de una mujer junto a su familia que hereda la casa de su madre tras fallecer, el lugar afecta a la mujer llamada Annie Graham y a los hijos; quedarse en la casa no fue la mejor decisión y el pasado de su niñez la perturba nuevamente. Este tipo de género terror, cuando está bien ejecutado cumple con el propósito de provocar en el cinéfilo temor, angustia, suspenso y para quienes son seguidores de este modelo puedan ser críticos y satisfacer de forma adictiva el placer del miedo; entonces, cómo me fue con la película El legado del Diablo.

Inicio con decir que la música creó una atmósfera fría, es decir, me puso en alerta para sentir y deducir qué pasará. Sonidos bajos que se potencia como arma filosa para informar y al mismo tiempo responda el cuerpo, puede que, no exista imagen, pero el organismo registra el sonido tenebroso. Está bien el efecto, es como sentir que alguien o algo está, el problema es demostrar que sí; la banda sonora generó intranquilidad en mí, por tanto, este recurso es excelente en el film. Luego tenemos unísono las escenas visuales, aquellas que se frecuentan en películas de terror y sobrenaturales como apariciones, ruidos, sangre y oscuridad, ya sea de noche o un lugar con poca luz, es motivo para que el efecto visual desencadene reacción. Aquí expresó mi apreciación, hubo una escena al principio que me impresionó y a lo mejor está en otras pelis, pero aquí hizo un buen trabajo estético sangriento, al igual que otras imágenes, pero esa me llevó a colocarme las manos en la boca. Me gusta cuando la cámara se desplaza y te hace sentir que eres una extensión de la misma, como también, tomas fílmicas rápidas que te obligan abrir los ojos para asimilar el suceso.

This type of horror genre, when well executed, fulfills the purpose of provoking fear, anguish, suspense in the moviegoer and for those who are followers of this model can be critical and satisfy the pleasure of fear in an addictive way; so, how did I do with the movie Hereditary.

I start by saying that the music created a cold atmosphere, that is to say, it put me on alert to feel and deduce what will happen. Low sounds that are empowered as a sharp weapon to inform and at the same time the body responds, maybe, there is no image, but the organism registers the dark sound. The effect is good, it is like feeling that someone or something is there, the problem is to show that it is; the soundtrack generated uneasiness in me, therefore, this resource is excellent in the film. Then we have unison visual scenes, those that are frequented in horror and supernatural films such as apparitions, noises, blood and darkness, whether at night or a place with little light, is a reason for the visual effect to trigger a reaction. Here he expressed my appreciation, there was a scene at the beginning that impressed me, and maybe it's in other movies, but here he did a good bloody aesthetic work, as well as other images, but that one made me put my hands in my mouth. I like when the camera pans and makes you feel like you are an extension of the camera, as well as, quick films shots that force you to open your eyes to take in the event.

¿Qué pasa con la trama? La película va en sentido lineal, revela pistas que te hacen discernir sobre un fenómeno paranormal. Hilvanar el comportamiento de los personajes producto de un pasado o es influenciado por alguien que intensifica la actitud lúgubre. Los diálogos expresan el sentir de una familia poco cálida y con una comunicación irrisoria, hay un drama horroroso y la familia debe sufrir más atrocidades; además te topas con aspectos psicológicos en la narrativa. Pienso que el director se toma el tiempo en ofrecer rastro sobre la historia, esto puede desesperar al espectador para crear conclusión acerca del terror en la familia.

¿Quiénes pertenecen al reparto en el plano familiar de terror? La interpretación de la actriz Toni Collette, estuvo bien, es madre de 2 hijos; Annie Graham arrastra una niñez dura y en la actuación transmite la ausencia de vida, es como ver a alguien que está sin sentido, se refugia en el arte para diseñar una arquitectura familiar. Hay escenas donde pasa de un llanto, miedo, molestia y actitud desquiciada; sin embargo, sentí, un esfuerzo en algunas parte del rodaje, a las cuales no le di importancia. Tenemos al actor Gabriel Byrne, el esposo pausado que busca la paz y la estabilidad de la familia, un hombre que ha acumulado mucho y está preocupado, un papel poco fuerte pero necesario. También está la actriz Milly Shapiro, la niña Cahrlie, callada que sufre porque está viviendo lo desconocido, muestra apariencia desorientada e incomprensible, realmente bueno la dramatización. Luego el actor Alex Wolff, protagoniza el hijo mayor, un joven que desea estar lejos de la familia y es arrastrado a lo más terrible que puede sufrir un hermano para perder el rumbo de la vida, me convenció.

What about the plot? The film goes in a linear sense, it reveals clues that make you discern about a paranormal phenomenon. The behavior of the characters is the product of a past or is influenced by someone who intensifies the gloomy attitude. The dialogue expresses the feelings of a family with little warmth and laughable communication, there is horrific drama and the family must suffer more atrocities; you also come across psychological aspects in the narrative. I think the director takes the time to offer a trace of the story, this can make the viewer desperate to create a conclusion about the terror in the family.

Who belongs to the cast in the family horror? The interpretation of the actress Toni Collette was good, she is a mother of 2 children; Annie Graham drags a hard childhood and in the performance she transmits the absence of life, it is like seeing someone who is without sense, she takes refuge in art to design a family architecture. There are scenes where she goes from crying, fear, annoyance and unhinged attitude; however, I felt an effort in some parts of the filming, which I did not give importance to. We have actor Gabriel Byrne, the leisurely husband who seeks peace and stability for the family, a man who has accumulated a lot and is worried, a not very strong but necessary role. There is also the actress Milly Shapiro, the girl Cahrlie, quiet who suffers because she is living the unknown, shows disoriented and incomprehensible appearance, fantastic dramatization. Then the actor Alex Wolff, stars as the eldest son, a young man who wants to be away from the family and is dragged into the most terrible thing a brother can suffer to lose the course of life, I was convinced.
