Saludos madres y padres de esta hermosa comunidad de Motherhood, espero se encuentren bien y con muy buenas expectativas para este nuevo año escolar.

Para esta oportunidad quiero compartirles una enseñanza que impartí a mis pequeños de una manera divertida, les encanto y lo más importante es que fijaron el conocimiento de lo que quise transmitirle en la materia de ciencias.

Primero aprendimos los huesos que conforman el esqueleto axial con una canción y con mímicas señalando con sus manos donde se encuentra el cráneo, las costillas, vertebras y esternón. Luego les explique quien formo estos huesos de una manera compleja y maravillosa “Dios nuestro creador”.

Luego con una manualidad les explique que tenemos huesos esponjosos ligeros para facilitar nuestro movimiento, huesos más fuertes y huecos (Fémur) que pueden soportar el peso del cuerpo.

For this opportunity I want to share with you a teaching that I gave to my little ones in a fun way, they loved it and the most important thing is that they fixed the knowledge of what I wanted to transmit in the subject of science.

First we learned the bones that make up the axial skeleton with a song and with mimics pointing with their hands where the skull, ribs, vertebrae and sternum are located. Then I explained to them who formed these bones in a complex and wonderful way "God our creator".

Then with a craft I explained that we have light spongy bones to facilitate our movement, stronger and hollow bones (femur) that can support the weight of the body.

Las vértebras compuestas por 33 huesos brindan una fuerte protección ósea para la medula espinal, sostiene el cráneo, el cuerpo erecto, permite doblar y girar el tronco, para esta manualidad usamos 3 rollos de papel higiénico, roca, cinta adhesiva, una esponja, una pajita y dos limpia pipas, rojo y azul.

Tomamos un rollo de papel higiénico y doblamos la esponja, la introduje dentro del rollo, donde el rollo es la parte externa del hueso duro, la esponja el hueso esponjoso, luego atravesamos la pajita por medio de la esponja que sería nuestra medula espinal, más los dos limpia pipas que representan el sistema sanguíneo.

Así elaboramos nuestro hueso esponjoso y ligero, después tomamos otro rollo de papel higiénico y con cinta adhesiva tapamos un extremo, lo llenamos de rocas, después tapamos el otro extremo, le pedí a los niños que tomaran ambos tubos y pudieron ver y sentir como uno resultaba más pesado que otro.

We took a roll of toilet paper and folded the sponge, I introduced it inside the roll, where the roll is the external part of the hard bone, the sponge is the spongy bone, then we put the straw through the sponge which would be our spinal cord, plus the two pipe cleaners that represent the blood system.

This way we elaborated our spongy and light bone, then we took another roll of toilet paper and with adhesive tape we covered one end, we filled it with rocks, then we covered the other end, I asked the children to take both tubes and they could see and feel how one was heavier than the other.

Finalmente tomamos otro tubo de papel higiénico y colocamos dos libros bien pesados sobre ellos y pudo soportar el peso. Con esta actividad sencilla enseñe a mis pequeños como hay huesos ligeros y fuertes que soportan nuestro peso y le dan movilidad al cuerpo.

Dios nos hizo creativos definitivamente y con algo sencillo podemos enseñar a nuestros hijos realidades complejas, espero se animen a realizarlo, a mis pequeños les fascino y es impresionante como se fijó la enseñanza en su memoria y como cuentan a otros lo que aprenden.

Finally we took another toilet paper tube and placed two heavy books on top of it and it was able to support the weight. With this simple activity I taught my little ones how there are light and strong bones that support our weight and give mobility to the body.

God definitely made us creative and with something simple we can teach our children complex realities, I hope you are encouraged to do it, my little ones were fascinated and it is impressive how the teaching was fixed in their memory and how they tell others what they learn.
