¡Happy evening to all my beloved Motherhood community!.. I hope you are surrounded by well-being, health, and moments that nourish the soul. Today is a special day for me. It's a day that invites me to look back, to remember, to be thankful... and to celebrate.
On Friday, October 3, 2003, at 2:30 PM, my life was transformed again. Six years after experiencing the joy of being a mother for the first time, the universe gifted me with a new opportunity to love without measure: María Daniela, my second daughter, was born.

Her arrival was premature; she began to show symptoms of preeclampsia, and my doctor, wisely and cautiously, decided to perform the cesarean section three weeks early. It was a moment of uncertainty, but also of faith. Thank God, everything went well. My blood pressure remains stable.
María Daniela was born weighing slightly below average (2.450 kg) and measuring 48 cm (19 inches). Her tenderness filled us with hope from the very first moment.
As a precautionary measure, she left the clinic without receiving the necessary newborn vaccinations.
Shortly after, we affectionately began calling her "Baby." And that's how it's been ever since. Even as the years go by, she will always be my Baby to me.
Today, that little girl who arrived prematurely turns 22. And I can't help but be moved by who she has become. María Daniela is a noble young woman, full of pure feelings, caring, empathetic, and deeply committed to her vocation. She is currently in her fourth semester of Veterinary Medicine, a degree that reflects her love for animals and her desire to care, heal, and protect.

As a mother, watching her grow has been a path filled with lessons, challenges, and moments that have left indelible marks. Being a mother isn't just about giving life: it's about accompanying, guiding, learning, and loving without measure. It's about discovering that the heart has an infinite capacity to expand, reinvent itself, and give of itself.

Today I celebrate your life, your light, your essence; I celebrate the privilege of being your mother. And I also celebrate all of you, women who have embraced motherhood with courage, tenderness, and dedication.
Thank you for allowing me to share this small fragment of my story. May there never be a shortage of reasons to celebrate life, the love that unites us, and the bonds that transform us.

Poco tiempo después comenzáramos a llamarla cariñosamente “Bebé”.
