Mi niña Esther ya tiene tres semanas que ha iniciado las clases del preescolar, ha tenido una adaptación increíble, lo cual hace que me sienta más tranquila y segura de que está avanzando en la expansión de sus conocimientos y habilidades.
Hace unos días en su colegio el personal de Protección Civil realizó un simulacro sísmico para los niños y sus representantes.
En el taller fue orientado hacia los niños y de como debían actuar o lo que debían hacer en caso de que sintieran que el piso se moviera repentinamente.
My little girl Esther has already started preschool classes three weeks ago, she has had an incredible adaptation, which makes me feel more calm and confident that she is advancing in the expansion of her knowledge and skills.
A few days ago at her school the Protección Civil staff conducted a seismic drill for the children and their representatives.
The workshop was geared towards the children and how they should act or what they should do in case they felt the floor move suddenly.
La señora que dictó la charla fue muy dinámica y graciosa, ella les definió a los niños y representantes lo que era un terremoto y dijo: ¿quién sabe lo que es un terremoto? Pero no me digan como en el colegio anterior que un niño me dijo: maestra un terremoto soy yo, porque mi mamá me dice ¡tu si eres un terremoto! jajajaja
Luego solicito cuatro niños como modelos para realizar un ejemplo de como se originaban los terremotos en la tierra, mi hija salió corriendo rápidamente para servir de apoyo (muy tímida ella) 😆
The lady who gave the talk was very dynamic and funny, she defined to the children and representatives what an earthquake was and said: "Who knows what an earthquake is? who knows what an earthquake is? But don't tell me like in the previous school that a child told me: teacher I am an earthquake, because my mom tells me you are an earthquake! hahahaha
Then he requested four children as models to perform an example of how earthquakes originated in the earth, my daughter ran out quickly to serve as support (very shy she) 😆
Mi hija representaba la tierra, le explicaron todo muy detalladamente a los niños lo cual me gustó mucho porque la persona que dictó la charla fue bastante paciente para adecuar la charla para que los niños entendieran muy bien.
Le explicaron que cuando el piso esté temblando ellos deben buscar un sitio seguro para poder estar a salvo, en su caso deben buscar una mesa y meterse debajo de ella y quedarse allí tranquilos.
Cuando hicieron el simulacro la señora gritaba: ¡terremoto! Y todos los niños salían a esconderse debajo de las mesas, ubieron algunos que se quedaron llorando, otros estaban asustados porque veían a los niños corriendo.
My daughter represented the earth, they explained everything in detail to the children which I liked very much because the person who gave the talk was very patient to adapt the talk so that the children understood very well.
They explained that when the floor is shaking they should look for a safe place to be safe, in their case they should look for a table and get under it and stay there quietly.
When they did the drill the lady was shouting: **And all the children went out to hide under the tables, there were some who stayed crying, others were scared because they saw the children running.
Luego los representantes de algunos de los niños debíamos cubrirnos la cabeza, para enseñar a los niños y también colaborar en la dinámica.
Tambien enseñaron a los niños las vías de escape en caso de alguna eventualidad y de como debían salir del aula de clases hasta un lugar seguro, en este caso el patio de juegos.
Todos los representantes colaboramos para que los niños se si tieran cómodos, y pudieran aprender, pero para ellos parecía un juego muy increíble, sus caras de diversión eran inevitables.
Then the representatives of some of the children had to cover our heads, to teach the children and also to collaborate in the dynamics.
They also taught the children the escape routes in case of any eventuality and how to get out of the classroom to a safe place, in this case the playground.
All the representatives collaborated so that the children felt comfortable and could learn, but for them it seemed to be a very incredible game, their faces of amusement were inevitable.
Me gusta poder conocer estas nuevas facetas de mi hija, ver su desenvolvimiento con nuevos niños y niñas, la forma en la que se expresa hacia la figura de autoridad en este caso la maestra.
Cómo padres tenemos un papel muy importante en la concientizacion de nuestros hijos durante estos fenómenos naturales, poder darles las herramientas adecuadas para su supervivencia y resguardo.
También es importante destacar que como padres y representantes debemos de apoyar a nuestros hijos con este tipo de actividades escolares,más aún en esta etapa que están tan pequeños, se sienten vulnerables sin saber que hacer porque no ven a sus padres allí apoyando.
Pude ver niños que estaban sólitos y veían a los lados como buscando a sus padres, me daba cosa porque se veía en sus caras que estaban triste, no es fácil si se trabaja a tiempo completo poder asistir a este tipo de actividades, (luego hablaré al respecto)
I like to get to know these new facets of my daughter, to see her development with new children, the way she expresses herself to the authority figure in this case the teacher.
As parents we have a very important role in the awareness of our children during these natural phenomena, to be able to give them the right tools for their survival and protection.
It is also important to emphasize that as parents and representatives we must support our children with this type of school activities, even more so at this stage when they are so young, they feel vulnerable without knowing what to do because they do not see their parents there supporting them.
I could see children who were alone and looked to the sides as if looking for their parents, I felt sorry for them because I could see in their faces that they were sad, it is not easy if you work full time to attend this type of activities, (I will talk about it later).
Al finalizar la actividad la señora de Protección Civil agradeció a todos los representantes por su apoyo y exhortó a que en casa se enseñen a los niños este tipo de contingencias para prevenirlos.
Aunque en mi ciudad no es una zona en la que se presenten este tipo de eventualidades, siempre es necesario poder estar preparados y que los más pequeños sepan que hacer, algunas representantes contaban como anécdotas una vez que hubo un temblor en mi ciudad y que mucho se quedaron paralizados por el miedo y el desconocimiento de que hacer.
Recuerdo que cuando sucedió ese evento estaba en una librería, y me sentí tan rara cuando mis pies sintieron el choque de las ondas terrestres que me pregunté a mi misma ¿esta temblando?
Por eso apoyo este tipo de actividades, y aplaudo para que se sigan expandiendo aún más en los colegios y no sólo este tipo de temas sino muchos otros más.
At the end of the activity, the lady from Protección Civil thanked all the representatives for their support and urged that children should be taught at home about this type of contingencies in order to prevent them.
Although in my city is not an area where this type of eventuality occurs, it is always necessary to be prepared and that the little ones know what to do, some representatives told as anecdotes once there was an earthquake in my city and many were paralyzed by fear and ignorance of what to do.
I remember that when that event happened I was in a bookstore, and I felt so strange when my feet felt the shock of the earth waves that I asked myself *is it shaking?
That's why I support this kind of activities, and I applaud for them to continue to expand even more in schools and not only this kind of topics but many others.

Muy interesante charla, y de verdad que es necesario poder enseñarle este tipo de cosas reales, ya que muchas personas no saben que hacer en caso de un terremoto.
Si habían muchos niños que no sabían cómo reaccionar, por eso es importante el poder educar a nuestros pequeños ante estas situaciones...
Que bueno que tu niña ya inició su proceso de aprendizaje, además de ello, también está el punto de la socialización. El taller que recibieron los niños es muy necesario, puesto que estamos en un país sísmico y al ocurrir un evento de estos debemos estar preparados. Los niños captan muy bien la información y el conocimiento que recibió tu niña de seguro lo almacenará muy bien.
Hola, Si me gustó mucho esta enseñanza bastante dinámica, y a los niños le gustó mucho.
Que interesante e importante actividad, de la forma en la cual la hicieron sin fomentar miedo sino al contrario hacer que participen, es muy positivo para que ellos sepan que hacer sin paralizarse por el miedo sino desarrollando las acciones correctas sobre todo a medida que vayan creciendo, incluso si no es zona de peligro, igual siempre es bueno conocer los protocolos de seguridad.
Si una idea muy dinámica e interactiva todos los niños estában bastante entusiasmado.
