That said, like you, reminiscing about it, I have also been all but in tears well after I recorded the final scenes of my little truck being hauled away. As you rightly point out, my reaction has a lot to do with the memories associated with that little truck.
And, very (more?) important, I also liked thinking of it has having "the heart of champion," as it never failed. Have much value do / should we place in that which does not let us down, given how rare that is in life?
