**Prague, the mother of cities. Today we will look together at the famous Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, a city located in the heart of Europe. We will arrive in Prague by train from Pilsen, the city of beer, the capital of the Pilsen region. We will see important Prague cultural and historical monuments.**
When viewed from the train, we can see the castle in Dobřichovice in front of Prague…
About an hour and a half after leaving Pilsen, we can get off at the Prague - Smíchov railway station.
We cross the Vltava on the footbridge at the Vyšehrad Railway Bridge. And there we see the memorable Vyšehrad in front of the sun…
And on the left the panorama of Hradčany…
And here's the bridge we walked.
After crossing the bridge, we are welcomed by the historic building of the Podskalská customs house with the Podskalí Museum.
After the bridge we turn left and walk along Vyšehradská Street to the church of St. Jan Nepomuckého on Skalka. It is a Baroque building from 1730 to 1739 by Kilián Ignác Dienzenhofer.
We will see the church from another angle.
Opposite the church is an architecturally very interesting building of the monastery V Emauzích. Here is the portal of the Church of Our Lady of St. Jerome and St. patrons of Slavic.
Breathtaking and typical roof of the church from 1965 to 1967.
Mosaic above the portal.
The gate of the church of St. Jan Nepomucký.
Next time we will continue our walk through Prague and look at Faust House and Prague Castle.
